Company Objectives To redefine the shopping experience by providing personalised & high quality grocery shopping options from the comfort of your home that empowers people to live convenient and healthier lives. The Value Proposition: Through our eCommerce platform, people get a personalized online shopping experience for their preferred food items while we provide last mile delivery through our personal shoppers thereby saving our customers time, effort and money of going to the local market physically. Customers with very busy schedules can use our ‘ready to eat’ service by booking a cook on our platform and have their preferred meal delivered to their doorstep thus saving them even more time and effort of cooking the raw food themselves.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
In today’s fast paced world, young adults are increasingly having to juggle multiple things in order to stay afloat. From commuting to a demanding 9-5 in a traffic riddled city daily, to managing a side hustle and a small business, in addition to managing personal life and relationships; there’s just too much to keep up with and oftentimes eating healthy takes the backseat. Throw in the economic realities that have impacted cost of transportation and fuel, grocery shopping has increasingly become a very expensive endeavour. Hence, there is a clear need for a technology powered solution that would enable people to cut costs, make healthy meals and save time, all from the comfort of their homes.
01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your startup provides (at least 3).
A busy lifestyle in the city, underpinned by rapid urbanization will prompt urban city dwellers to seek easier & more convenient ways to save time & effort on grocery shopping while saving money & reducing stress in the process. We provide a one stop shopping platform where they search for items, add to cart and make payment in local currency. Their order is assigned to a personal shopper who lives within the same geographical location and has been carefully trained and vetted to procure and deliver the food items within the same day to ensure product is delivered fresh.
