Priv Health is a one-stop telehealth service for men's wellness and care, providing treatment for erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, STIs, and more

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

We operate through a telehealth model, providing online consultations with licensed medical doctor such as doctors. Patients can access these consultations through messaging, or phone calls, enabling discreet and convenient access to medications and treatments. We also offers follow-up care and ongoing support to our patients. The patient experience is designed to be user-friendly, with a website that simplify the process. Medications and products are delivered discreetly to the patient's home and we also offer at-home lab testing. We aim to provide men with a convenient and discreet way to access personalized healthcare services and treatments, particularly for sensitive or stigmatized conditions, by leveraging telehealth technology and direct-to-consumer delivery

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Despite making up half the global population, men face a severe health crisis. Men have a 5-year lower life expectancy than women, with high rates of heart disease, cancer, and suicide. Worse, 39% of men report no annual healthcare visits, often due to stigma and limited access to personalized solutions The consequences are staggering: over 50% of men aged 40-70 suffer from erectile dysfunction, while 20-30% experience premature ejaculation. Low testosterone, affecting 40% of men over 45, can affect sexual function and overall health. Yet, many men suffer in silence, reluctant to seek the care they desperately need

06.08 Justification for my startup

Telehealth in Nigeria already exist. We are targeting a specific audience and building products and experiences that truly solve the problems this audience faces. Stigma is a big barrier for men and we are out to solve this problem

Our competitors are hospitals, clinics, and private practices that offer men's health services. They are fragmented, lack of specialized focus, and limited use of technology. Other competitors include existing digital health companies offering remote consultations and medication delivery like Zuri Health, Afrihealth. They are often generalist in nature and lack of comprehensive men's health focus We understand the need for a comprehensive model to address the diverse health needs of men. This includes seamlessly integrating physical, sexual, mental, and lifestyle components of men's wellness. We also recognize the importance of creating a judgment-free, empowering environment that encourages men to seek care without embarrassment
