In our community, there is a significant gap in English language proficiency with many children struggling to speak and write fluently. Recognizing this critical need as a phonics coach am starting Olivefield preparatory school to address this challenge.

Olivefield preparatory school is an educational enterprise that is focused on SDG4 (quality education). In our community, there is a significant gap in English language proficiency with many children struggling to speak and write fluently .This lack of literacy skills limits their educational and future career opportunities. Olivefield preparatory school is an innovative educational institution dedicated to enhancing literacy skills among students . We provide a stimulating environment where children can develop their reading,writing and comprehension abilities. Our curriculum is designed with a focus on reading programs and interactive writing workshops, which sets us apart from traditional schools. We cater for students from Nursery to primary level, ensuring they build a strong foundation in literacy that supports their overall academics success.

1. Low Literacy Rates: Many children in our community struggle with basic reading, writing, and comprehension skills, which are essential for academic success and daily life. 2. Limited Access to Quality Education: Our major challenge as a Rural community is lack of access to high-quality educational resources and trained teachers, leading to inadequate literacy instruction. 4.Educational Inequality: There is a significant gap between the educational opportunities available in urban vs. rural areas, leading to long-term socioeconomic disparities. 5.Lack of Early Intervention: Early childhood is a critical period for literacy development, we aim to provide the necessary support and instruction needed during these formative years. 6.Insufficient Learning Resources. 7.Poor Learning Environments. By addressing these issues, Olivefield preparatory aims to provide comprehensive literacy education, ensuring that children develop strong reading and writing skills and Succeed in life.
