Gabest Computers is an Information and Communication Technology training ground that was birthed to eradicate zero IT skills from the lives of the individuals, youth, middle-aged, adults and teens who are very much interested in the pursuit of IT.

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

This idea seeks to make anyone who will take advantage of this programme to be equipped with the much needed IT skills to become employable or to be able to set up on your own. Jobs are not there to go round all graduates and all job seekers but with the horning of one's skills, such jobs can be gotten on a platter of gold. You cannot employ a job seeker who does not know how to develop software to take on that position on an experienced ground. Similarly, you cannot employ someone who is not a Cisco Certified Network Associate to start configuring routers, switches and doing network segmentation and setting up VLAN in an organization. He will destroy many things rather than make things work. This is why Gabest Computers came up to address these disadvantage. We have to note that no employer or organization employs a staff on an experience level because they like him. If he does not have the needed skill sets to deliver, he cannot get the job. Or set up on your own.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

To address the issue of non-possession of IT skills. To make individuals who seek jobs become employable. To make individuals who plan to set up on their own be able to do so. To transform the energy sector by producing individuals who will meet their IT needs. To transform the country, Nigeria by strengthening the IT sector and other sectors. To reduce unemployment. To mitigate hunger as individuals who successfully go through the training are employable and can set up on their own thereby putting food on their table. Plus others.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your startup provides (at least 3).

It will transform the IT sector of the energy sector. It will transform the economy of the country as it reduces unemployment rate in the country. People can boast of having IT skills that they can use for their survival. People will become relevant both in their home country and elsewhere. Many will not remember their days of struggle again. It will help many to develop employability skills. It will help many to acquire skills that they can set up on their own.

People of all ages, especially, those between the ages of 15-55 years old.

RUME SHERRLY is the Administrator. She holds a Master's degree from Babcock University in Mass Communication. She equally holds a certification from University of Toronto, Canada. She has eight years experience in Management and Administration. Anuoluwapo, holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from University of Lagos. He is a facilitator, a programmer, a developer and computer scientist.

06.08 Justification for my startup

It is a new version because we tend to put in some innovations there to bring in uniqueness. For example, coding and software development are done using Artificial Intelligence, AI. Before this time, it was not so. We improve more and more on some demands like cyber security zero-day attack which is an attack unknown by the manufacturer. By creating awareness users of such products will carry out regular updates and patches to mitigate it.
