02.02.02 Zero hunger - Justification for my startup
Strongly agree. As a matter of fact I started this food bundling idea during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 on a sick bed, using the leveraging the online marketplaces such as Konga and Jumia, solely to relieve people of hunger. As someone who was already locked down and confined to a room since 2019 before the pandemic due to illness, I was dependent on my siblings to do things for me because I could not. I understood deeply what it meant to be denied accessibility to basic needs. So, I thought of how to solve hunger problem by putting together complementary food stuff items that will make a complete meal in just "one buy". I listed them on my already existing grocery stores on Jumia and Konga and had my siblings run the logistics at the time. Few year after, I am back on my feet, register my business and here I am.

06.08 Justification for my startup
Our product is unique and innovative with it extension to C2C type (while it also serves B2C and occasionally B2B models) considering it complexity. The sourcing from different manufacturers, distributors and sometimes different industries where need be just to form a single order that can be multiply in quantities. We became really aware and came to consciousness of it innovativeness and it tendencies to get even better on the long run from the reviews we got from our indirect customers on our partners online marketplace platforms (Konga Nigeria and Jumia Nigeria) websites despite the restrictions to explore our full potentials on those websites. Which is why we are (for lack of funds we are gradually) building our own independent website to explore these innovative ideas without such restrictions. It gets even better with fundings.
