Project Japa Global aims to equip noncode tech talents with the skills needed to get hired faster and thrive globally in today's competitive landscape.

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

Japa helps African non-code tech talents get hired faster. We are building a LinkedIn for Noncode Tech in Africa. It is a technology platform developed to address the pressing issue of youth unemployment and underemployment in Nigeria, primarily caused by a skills and knowledge gap and inadequate access to quality education and career guidance. The product empowers young Nigerians by providing a platform offering high-quality, industry-relevant courses, talent assessment and employment assistance, enabling them to acquire the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the job market. By bridging the skills gap and connecting the youth with potential employers globally, JAPA aims to enhance employability, reduce unemployment, and contribute to the economic growth and development of more than ten(10) million Africans by 2030.

We are solving the problem of getting hired faster in non-code tech jobs caused by lack of in-demand skills, non optimized resumes and access to career guidance.

Talents in Africa will get upskilled in Noncode tech Talents will be able to get hired faster in noncode tech. Talents will receive career coaching which will accelerate their career development.

Our product/service is aimed at serving young Africans between ages 18-40.
