Esemie is an app that was built to help solve the pain points small to medium business face when handling their bookkeeping. Esemie has features that allows users easily deal with their books.

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

Esemie designed a cloud based app that helps users handle their book keeping. Unlike the conventional way of using paper, Esemie offers businesses a digital way to do things giving businesses real-time insights into their finances, ensuring that they do not have to deal with the stress of calculating things manually and stress that comes with paper works. With our AI feature business owners can easily upload a receipt of their expense and Esemie will handle the rest for them. This ensures easy usability giving business owners more time to do other things. With Esemie's invoicing feature, users can easily generate professional invoice for their customers, receive payments both locally and internationally, send receipts to their customers. And with our inventory management businesses sure have more efficient way to track their stocks. Esemie is currently in the beta phase and our testers have generated over 10k+ invoices for their customers and are happy with the insights it offers.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

From our research, a lot of small businesses find it difficult to understand what happens to their money and a lot of these issues stem from lack of proper record management. We also found a lot small businesses who record their books on paper, spending lots of time they do not have to deal with their books and slowing down their processes also giving them little to no insights needed to make sound financial decisions for their business. Esemie has come to solve their bookkeeping issues, helping them to optimize their processes, cutting the time they need to handle their books in half and giving businesses real-time insights into their data.

1. Insights and Reporting: Esemie offers businesses real-time insights into their money ensuring that business owners are able to make sound financial decisions. 2. Optimization: With Esemie, business owners now have an efficient and optimize process of handling their books ensuring that they have enough time to do other. Our AI feature is one of the ways we ensure business owners can get things done easily. Multi currency billing: With our payment integration feature, Esemie gives small business owners the opportunity to receive payments both locally and internationally from their customers without facing any issues.

What Esemie offers is not entirely new, however we are targeting Small to medium enterprise who seems to not have enough opportunities in this area and our AI feature offers businesses an easier and faster way to do things

Dillali, Tyms and Zoho are our main competitors. Esemie offers a broad and better insights feature ensuring that business owners have the tools needed to make good financial decisions. Also, Esemie has a more efficient and effective way for users to manage their inventory. From restock to removal of stock in case of damage, esemie ensures that users can track everything that happens to their stock and even get updates on low stock. Esemie also provides users with an AI that makes recording easier and faster
