My project has to do with the production of pineapple fruit juice drinks,using the latest innovative pineapple fruit juice processing line that can accomplish the whole process of making natural pineapple fruit juice for diabetic and non-diabetic persons.

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

Fruit juice drinks with large amount of sugary contents have caused health problems in Nigeria such as diabetes. As an Agricultural and Bio-resources Engineer, I would use the latest innovative/technological method of pineapple fruit juice processing line that can accomplish the whole process of making natural pineapple fruit juice for diabetic and non-diabetic persons. The whole process includes fruit sorting, washing,peeling,juicing, pineapple juice filtration, degassing, sterilization, cooling and bottling.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Basically, the main problem I am trying to solve, is to reduce the percentage level of diabetes in Nigeria, through consumption of natural pineapple fruit juice for diabetic and non-diabetic persons.

1.) Health benefits - natural pineapple fruit juice contains citric acid,glucose,vitamins B and C, fructose, protease,etc. 2.) Drinking natural pineapple fruit juice is good for diabetic and non-diabetic persons, in terms of maintaining normal sugar levels. 3.) Starting up the business venture of pineapple fruit juice can create employment for the unemployed youths in Nigeria.

There are a lot of customers who consume sweetened fruit juice drinks but regular consumption of the sweetened drinks can cause diabetes but my product is purely natural pineapple fruit juice drink.
