BeeGee Agriculture ENT is an agro-based startup focused on the cultivation and processing of plantains. Food Insecurity: I aim to address food insecurity by increasing the production of plantains, a staple food in Nigeria and many other regions. By cultivating and processing plantains, we contribute to a steady supply of nutritious food, helping to alleviate hunger and malnutrition. This business focuses on sustainable agricultural practices by promoting the use of plantain suckers for continuous crop production. This helps ensure long-term agricultural productivity and resilience against climatic and environmental challenges.

Plantain Suckers Sustainability: Plantain suckers (young shoots) are crucial for sustainable agriculture. They help in propagating new plants, ensuring a continuous supply of plantains and supporting the long-term sustainability of plantain farming. High Yield: Using high-quality plantain suckers can significantly increase crop yield. This is beneficial for farmers as it leads to greater productivity and profitability. Pest Resistance: Certain varieties of plantain suckers are bred to be resistant to common pests and diseases, reducing the need for chemical pesticides and promoting healthier crop growth. Plantain Bunch Versatile Ingredient Plantain Chips Healthy Snack Option: Plantain chips are often lower in fat and calories and can be prepared without artificial additives or preservatives, appealing to health-conscious consumers. • Bread Bakeries and confectionery companies: This segment is growing at 65% and there currently are 40 potential customers. • Distributors/Individuals: Most of the distributors will buy from us and take it to the final consumers. We have established an excellent relationship with them. This segment has a 100% growth rate with 10 potential customers. • Supermarkets: We will engage businesses in this particular segment to aid give our product a boost as majority of people who buy products from supermarkets are confident that the product is of the right quality and with our production process and product quality we are sure they will come back to purchase more of our product after their first buy. • Food Production Companies (Flour Mill): Since our major sales objective with this product is business to business, we will sell more to flourmills companies. This segment has a 100% growth rate with four potential companies.
