HRH Farms is an Agribusiness company & Horticultural Farm, we engage in the production of exotic fruits & Vegetables & Committed to a Sustainable future through knowledge transfer to end hunger, promote food Security & improve rural livelihoods. * Focus on Exotic Produce: Growing exotic fruits & vegetables that are uncommon fill a niche market & offer high profits. Which caters to specific cultural cuisines & high-end restaurants. Hence improving nutrition * Sustainable Practices; with a commitment to a sustainable future,we implement innovative techniques like water conservation, renewable energy sources & regenerative agriculture practices, which sets us apart from conventional farms * Knowledge Transfer programs in underprivileged communities with Focus of Ending Hunger, creating employment & promoting food security in line with UNSDGs
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
HRH Farms is committed to solving two problems in Nigeria they are; providing a wider range of fresh produce and tackling food insecurity in Nigeria. * Limited access to exotic fruits and vegetables: We noticed a gap in the market and created HRH Farms to address the demand for exciting and wider variety of fruits and vegetables. We began the cultivation of exotic fruits and vegetables like grapes, apples, soursop, passion fruit, Broccoli, purple cabbage, Kale etc. These items are often scarce due to a lack of awareness and expertise among local farmers. * A strong commitment to addressing hunger and food insecurity: Beyond offering new options, HRH Farms is deeply committed to a larger mission – combating hunger and food insecurity, a prevalent issue throughout Nigeria and much of Africa.

Our Farm focuses on creating a positive impact across the entire food system in Nigeria, rather than offering a single product. By offering Consumers a Wider range of fresh produce, offering the Community Improved food security and offering Farmers Increased income and livelihood improvement
01.04 Please describe who exactly your startup’s product/service is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?
Our Farm has two target audiences 1. The Nigerian populace with the need for a wider variety of fresh produce. As there are limited home grown options of exotic fruits and vegetables like grapes, apples, soursop, passion fruit, broccoli, purple cabbage, and kale. In Nigeria there are Consumers that are willing to pay a premium for these less common items. 2. Nigerians facing hunger and food insecurity and want to adopt agriculture as a means of livelihood and improved nutrition We serve both groups simultaneously. Selling exotic produce at a profit while also donating some of the proceeds to knowledge transfer initiatives to farmers in rural communities to improving farming systems. As beyond subsistence, Agriculture can be profitable

Aminu Bappa, is an entrepreneur & a leading figure in Nigerian agriculture. Through his company HRH Farms, he cultivates exotic fruits and vegetables on the fertile Jos Plateau. Driven by a love for farming and a deep concern for the environment, Bappa is a vocal advocate against food insecurity, desertification, deforestation, and environmental damage. He holds both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in International Affairs and Diplomacy. When not managing his farm, Bappa champions causes related to community development, food security, and climate change at Nigeria's prestigious institute of International Affairs.

The Bappa Foundation's current efforts include sponsoring orphans in Northern Nigeria and working towards building a free school in Futuk, Alkaleri - Bauchi state. High-end supermarkets and stores like Blenco, Prince Ebaeano and Shop rite catering to expatriate communities are our competition. So also E-commerce Vendors of fresh produce like Hopi Afrique and Agro Errands are our competitors. But we have an advantage, because we produce, they don't they only source from local farmers. So we have an edge in the long term and they are among businesses we Supply to. With adequate funding we will be at the top of the value chain
