Describe your project or startup in a few words

My project is as important as the air all human breath, without it, there won't be anything called HUMAN. My project is about cultivation or production of food crops for immediate and industrial consumption e.g Maize, cassava and soyabeans.

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

My project is about cultivation of food crops which are staple in many household and for industrial uses, one of such is Maize grain which is universal important for human and animal consumption. The second is cassava cultivation, the cassava tubers has only been known to many household as making of cassava flake (GARRI), but it uses especially in industrial settings has outlived it important but it's being underrated. My third project crop is soybean. My passion for this crop is it global importance, soybean when it undergoes industrial process is transformed into cooking oil, mayonnaise and butter which is a source of fat and oil needed in human nutrition. My passion for this project is not just for job creation but to enhance food security and also reduce importation of grains as a raw material for our industrial use. My project is to make Nigeria and Africa self sufficient in food production and eliminate dependency on imported finished goods.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The main problem that I want to solve is to make Nigeria self sufficient in food production, to have a sustainable food security and eliminate hunger and poverty. The vision is to have an integrated farming system where one farm waste product will be used as an input for another farming output. The problem of unemployment is also one of the reason for setting up this project, because with mechanize farming both educated and the illiterates will find agriculture fascinating and interesting to take up as a career especially the youths.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your startup provides (at least 3).

The major benefits of using my products are enormous, all my crops are for both human and animal consumption, and for human, it is quite imperative to note that no human can survive without food which is what my project is all about, if there is no farmer, there will definitely be no nation. My benefit of my project is to give food to human which sustains life in as much as the air we breath, the benefit of my project is also to contribute to the economic GDP through taxation, to bring foreign direct investments through investor investing our agricultural sector. Lastly, the benefit is to make Nigeria an exporter of agro produce to the world and which grain is number one.

01.04 Please describe who exactly your startup’s product/service is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

The target beneficiaries are all human and animal because from transformation of the raw materials into finish goods, it will be taken up by human for immediate consumption and also animal is the the raw materials are transformed into animal feeds for livestock. My product is targeting all living things.

The owner of this startup is a graduate with a master degree in business administration and also he has gone through agricultural training in a reputable institution called FARM SERVICE CENTER, in Lagos state, Nigeria, to acquire the necessary skills in crops productions, farm management and maintenance, he is a certified farmer with passion in crops cultivation. Also being a master degree holder both in economics and business administration, he is knowledgeable about business trend, business policy and business environment.

My project is not a new profession because agriculture is as old as human, but there are improved varieties of the seedlings to be planted which gives more yield, good vitamins.
