Describe your project or startup in a few words

My project is all about boosting poultry at my local community in a standard manner whereby everybody can have access to healthy birds and bi- products such as eggs meats etc.

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

I wish to start by getting a location that will be suitable for my poultry business and getting the necessary equipments and materials such as, feeders, drinkers, etc. My goal is to boost production of healthy birds within my local community and to make it to be available at all times and seasons.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

I'm currently trying to create Job opportunities to people and also so that everybody can have access to healthy meat, and eggs as sources of protein.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your startup provides (at least 3).

Number one advantage is that my production can be affordable to the less privileged people in my local community because I believe that everyone has the right to eating healthy.

01.04 Please describe who exactly your startup’s product/service is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

As the cost of livelihood surged, people of poor backgrounds can't afford to buy proteins with their hard earned money, I'm targeting such people to be able to buy my products to reduce the number of malnourished children in my local community.

The other owners are my sisters, which happen to be graduates from university, we joined our resources together to start up the business because it's difficult to get poultry in our area

In my local community, the price of beans is grossly high and people can't afford other proteins which are needed for building the body, so I believe that with my production, I can help curb the issue of balance diet for the less privileged.

Since people can no longer afford beans ( which was the most consumed protein in my locality) and beef is also so expensive, poultry needs to be boosted so that everyone can afford to eat balanced food.

My startup is not a new product entirely but an affordable one for the people within my locality .

My major competitors are people selling their birds in the market and the reason why I stand out from them is the fact that I don't have a fix price for my poultry and can sell it at the price that is affordable for my customers

11.05 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?

Yes I am, as a young female graduate I aspire young females in my area that you don't have to be old before you start up a business. An example is when people come to buy chickens and saw me as the owner, they're happy and even encourage me.
