We provide solution to the challenges faced with school uniform in Nigeria. School owners travel as far as China and UK to buy school uniform because Nigeria fashion industries have no capacity to handle their uniform need.

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

We have operated for two years now and within that two years, we have been able to convince and also satisfy the need of some schools. When school owners import school uniform. The cost of importation makes the school uniform very expensive for the parents who are end users. Some school owners access bank loan to import uniforms and the interest of the loan must be made from parents. All this is the challenge faced with school uniform that makes life so difficult for parents. Rashnat clothier intervention is to produce the same quality of uniform they are importing and sell to the school as soft loan. Instead of taking loan to buy uniforms, our uniform becomes the loan and they pay us as soon as parents started buying. We have a written agreement with school owners and since we started, they have never bridge the trust. It has been a good business where school owners and parents enjoy cheap uniform without stress

Unavailability of school uniform in Nigeria. High price of school uniform. Lose of revenue to importation

Our school uniform is affordable and of high quality, school owners don't need to break the bank to access it. We discourage importation of uniform and this will boost the country revenue. We create employment for our skilled youth as we are always in need of more hands.

Rahanat Abdulrasheed is my wife and a graduate of Mass communication. She has 4 years experience as a banker and she uses her marketing skills to bring in customer and convince clients to patronise us. She is the marketing manager in charge of the marketing teams. Onubaiye Abdullahi has 8 years working with people as a fashion designer. He is the head of production and quality control manager. Onubaiye Abdulrasheed is the CEO and also act as the Managing Director. I oversee all the affairs of the business. I have 15years of experience in the industry.

We also intend to become the top uniform sewing business here in Nigeria by 2027. In order to achieve this, we have set out competitive strategies that will enable us have a competitive advantage over our competitors. Our first competitive advantage is the fact that we are offering other products and services in addition to our core service, this has allowed us to have the edge we need over similar businesses such as ours here in Nigeria
