01.01 Describe your startup in more detail
Zilchco Handyman Services is an handyman service provider dedicated to delivering reliable, and high-quality home maintenance and repair solutions by connecting home owners and offices to skilled Artisans. We aim to simplify the lives of our customers by taking care of their property needs, ensuring their homes are safe, functional, and aesthetically appealing. We focus on Electrical, plumbing, Carpentry, and Masonry. The goal is to have an application that would manage the pairing of the artisans and also manage clients and customers request. Currently for our minimum viable product, request are managed through WhatsApp, manually connecting and tracking Artisans. The Vision of the business is to be a world class conglomerate, with footprints across Africa and the world in providing maintenance and facility repair solutions and in quality service delivery, while our mission is to provide excellent, customer centric services while remaining at the forefront of innovation.

Below are the list of problems the startup is trying to solve: 1. Difficulty in accessing skilled and reliable artisans. 2. Challenges in Skilled artisans managing their schedules 3. Safety concerns for homeowners. 4. Lack of standardization in repair and maintenance costs. 5. use of below standard quality parts for repair that go bad in a short time 6. The hassle of tracking and following up with artisans, leading to wasted time for clients. 7. Proper documentation and tracking of cost and repair activities for Offices that would require this information.

Below are the benefit of the service of the startup - Access to Skilled and Reliable Artisans - Schedule management for Artisan - Safety for Home owners - Standardization of repair and maintenance cost - Quality control for repair parts as we have preapproved type of product that an artisan can purchase for any replacement or repair to be done. - Track and follow up on artisan to take away the worry and hassle of having to follow up on artisan, giving the clients more time to focus on other things - Able to provide invoices and receipt for repairs and track maintenance schedules and work orders that organizations can often refer back to.

He has experience as a site engineer, maintenance officer for a real estate company, he has managed several renovation and construction projects in Nigeria. Currently, he is an Assistant Program Manager at a non-profit, overseeing a team of 12 officers across 12 states and has successfully implemented over 50 projects. King David Echatah is a First Class Computer Scientist with competence in app development, front end and backend 7development. He is currently a software program manager, managing the development of several application been built
