Describe your project or startup in a few words
We give all restaurants an online presence to take orders both for eat in, pick up or delivery at a very cheaper price compared to building their own ordering and payment websites.
01.01 Describe your startup in more detail
YumDash is a food ordering application and web-app aimed at providing a convenient and efficient way for customers to order and receive food from various local restaurants and eateries. We give all restaurants targeting local restaurants with low funding an online presence to take orders both for eat-in, pick up or delivery at a very cheaper price compared to building their own ordering and payment websites without spending much. We increase the customer base for restaurants and make life easier for customers. I build websites for client and I have a lot of clients run away (E-commerce related client) cos of cost of building an e-commerce store, for those selling digital tools and physical product. They have alternatives like Selar, flutter e-commerce platform etc. But the food vendors are always stranded, their best bet is to use WhatsApp. We look to solve this major issue local food vendors face.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
We are working toward making food ordering and delivering easier and techify the manual processes involved. Users have to be physically present at their favorite local restaurant to order their food. Restaurants have limitations on the number of customers coming in to make purchases. Local resturants are not able to afford to have personal E-commerce website or mobile app for easy ordering, payment and sales management. Local Resturant not having access to digitalize their business due to how expensive it is.
01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your startup provides (at least 3).
