Warri Pti Market is an online Market platform where buyers and sellers get connected for business purpose. Over the years, WPM has assisted loads of brands grow from scratch to scale. Our mission is to assist more entrepreneurs grow their brands Nigeria.

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

We started off Warri Pti Market as a social media based market community. Our platform cuts accross several social media hubs like Facebook and whatsapp, telegram. With an ever growing Facebook community of over 140,000 members consisting of entrepreneurs, brand owners, organization and a handful of buyers, Warri Pti Market has proven to be a blessing to all, assisting with connecting buyers and sellers together. We're currently in the project of building and launching our website and mobile app to ensure a better user experience for our users accross Nigeria. We believe that with digital tools like the Warri Pti Market platform, entrepreneurs would better be equipped to grow their brands, thereby providing means of survival for all.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The main problem Warri Pti Market is solving is providing empowerment for startups. With the current downward spiral of the Nigerian economy and the unavailability of jobs in the country, it is crucial to encourage entrepreneurship and business startups. People would be more willing to startup businesses and brands when they know that they can begin with almost zero capital sine they wouldn't have to stress themselves seeking for exuberant sums for renting shops and setting up their businesses offline. We have been able to help over 200 startups who started with zero capital as dropshipers, yet by taking advantage of our online Market platform they've been able to dropship for others till the point where they're able to rent their own offline shops for better establishments. We also help local shops get listed online, so people easily buy items from shop owners right from the comfort of their homes. Warri Pti Market is an online Market company, and yes there have been other online markets like Jumia, Jiji, Ali express and their likes. However what we bring to the industry is a more feseable tool for buying and selling online. We make buying and selling online look and sound the way it should be - THE NEW NORM. We break buying and selling online down so much so that even a lame man would understand it's concept and embrace it. Also our kyc registration policy helps us ensure that all our verified vendors are legit honest 100 Percent trust worthy individuals. These has made it super easy for people to embrace this business model and bring their business online.

06.09 Competitive Analysis

Wow it's just like I saw this question coming. My main competitors are Jumia, Alibaba, Jiji and Konga. We have succeeded in making sure that the thousands of shoppers and sellers currently flocking on our platform have forgotten about these places because Warri Pti Market makes life of buying and selling online easier for them.

Our platform is open to entrepreneurs of both genders. But strangely, females seem to be taking it more seriously than males.
