01.01 Describe your startup in more detail
Nigeria generate 542.5M tons of agricultural waste, which could potentially yield 25.3B cubic metre of biogas and 88.19m tons of biofertilizer. Over 120m household rely primarily on firewood for cooking, 100,000 die annually, at least 450,000 women die in 5 years, 15.3m lack access to electricity, cooking cost 1500-2000 naira a day, leading to economic loses , health risks from waste pollution and smooke exposure and persistent energy poverty. We target 120m household ages 18-60, 70% biomass energy user and 90% reside in rural areas. We distribute via cylinder, tanks for future growth etc. Firewood and charcoal, lpg, others renewable energy companies and biofertilizer is chemical fertilizer industries. We produce biogas for energy, biofertilizer for agriculture, biochar for soil enhancement and carbon sequestration, pellets for clean fuel, and biodiesel for sustainable transportation. Our processes support a circular economy, promoting environmental and economic sustainability. Our target market 120m adults age 18-60, 65% of energy and 90% whom resides in the rural areas. customers socioeconomic status includes low and high income earners who are connected to agriculture, impacting both urban and rural communities. The company's services are relevant to various family sizes and extend to farmers, laborers, and others within the agricultural supply chain. It addresses long-standing waste management issues exacerbated by traditional practices and a lack of sustainable alternatives.
