Describe your project or startup in a few words
Daffodils Africa is a social enterprise that executes CSR goals for organizations (private and government-owned) and implements social impact projects for individuals.
01.01 Describe your startup in more detail
Daffodils Africa is committed to implementing social impact projects for individuals, organizations, and governments. We also provide consultancy services for constructive and sustainable models to tackle social challenges in Africa. We execute any range of social impact projects included in the 17 Social Development Global Goals as selected by the project’s sponsor. However, we prioritize the implementation of social impact projects in the following SDGs across African countries; SDG 1- No Poverty, SDG 4- Quality Education, SDG 8-Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 10- Reduced Inequalities and SDG 11- Sustainable Cities and Communities.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
Daffodils Africa solves the problem of access to opportunities for development in low-income communities by taking social impact projects from financially empowered individuals, and organizations and transparently implementing sustainable-oriented social impact projects in low-income communities. With Daffodils Africa, financially empowered individuals and organizations have easier access to reach low-income communities for social impact projects and, similarly, low-income communities have easier access to opportunities to thrive due to the social impact projects we implement as funded by financially empowered individuals and organisations.
01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your startup provides (at least 3).
With the main goal of making social impact easy for everyone, Daffodils Africa recognizes that organizations often have CSR goals but have no adequate manpower to implement the CSR goals so we take the burden of implementation off them by simply working with the organization's budget and deliver social impact on the organization's behalf. Similarly, we help financially privileged individuals create or build social capital by implementing social impact projects for them. Broadly, Daffodils Africa is committed to building bridges of impact between financially-empowered individuals, organizations and low-income communities.
01.04 Please describe who exactly your startup’s product/service is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?
Daffodils Africa's service is aimed at serving low-income communities and financially empowered individuals and organizations. We enhance access to opportunities for development in low-income communities and we help financially empowered individuals and organisations build social capital that promote their relevance.

The services that Daffodils Africa provides are unique and innovative because currently in the development sector, we often have NGOs that implement social impact projects with limited scope but very few organizations like Daffodils Africa commit to independently implementing social impact projects for interested individuals
06.09 Competitive Analysis
Our main competitors are NGOs. Daffodils Africa's Unique Selling Point is that we make social impact easy for people across boards. You don't have to be an NGO founder (s) or an extensive financially empowered person before you constructively make social impact in any community. Also, our clients enjoy the ability to create social impacts outside their immediate communities or reach. For us at Daffodils Africa, distance is no barriers to implementing social impact projects.
11.05 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?
Yes, I am initiating actions within my community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs. A copious reference is the successful implementation of an economic empowerment program to support two women-owned businesses in a low-income community in Lagos, Nigeria.
