I develop and manufacture various wide range of power backup solutions; ranging from laptop power bank, home lightning systems and power stations. This power station is long-lasting can be charged via NEPA, Generator or Solar Panels.

I am the founder and CEO of Kolas Energy, I Specialize in the developing and manufacturing of various wide range of power backup solutions, including laptop power bank, home lightning systems and power stations. I manufacture and sell durable and affordable power stations; 24/7 UPS, built with high quality lithium iron phosphate battery, that is used to power light bulbs, Television, laptop, router, CCTV, Phones, fans etc. This system is durable and long-lasting , it can be recharged via NEPA Generator or Solar Panel and gets fully charged in a minimum amount of time(3-5hours) depending on the capacity; for instance Our 250w power station can power bulbs for days, can charge laptops for 5x and phones for days and the most amazing feature is that it comes with a supper fast charger with which it gets fully charged in 3 hours with NEPA, Generator or Solar Panel. And this is sold at a cost-effective price which is cheaper when compared to other brands of the same capacity.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

• I am committed to solve the problem of power failure through the use of energy backup solutions, bringing energy access to every home . My mission is to make a significant impact through alternative power generation, looking forward to a Nigeria where every home, School and business has access to reliable and affordable electricity without the burden of high fuel cost; Eliminating noise and air pollution, Enlightening people on how free energy can be harnessed from the sun. This is the future Kolas Energy is looking at. My ambition is to make uninterruptable power affordable for everyone. This innovation started many years ago, am always inquisitive, trying to bring positive change , and with light not being constant , people battling on power failure, I always wonder if there could be a possibility for this light to be long-lasting, I carried out so much research till I successfully built a laptop power bank , from there I built a power station for bulbs, TV, E.T.C

 Increase in productivity; every business needs a backup solution to increase their productivity, lack of energy slows down productivity and increases cost of living, but with our power back up station , business have an alternative means to power up their appliances both at home and in their businesses thereby increasing efficiency of their production. Without electricity , businesses are forced to rely on generators which are not only expensive but harmful to the environment.  Job Creation: Kolas energy has given job opportunities to individuals who contribute in one way or the other in the manufacturing and selling of the product and in return earn money for living; We are still working on employing more persons and help in our own way to eradicate poverty in the country, as well reduce Inequalities among countries.  Clean and safe environment: with renewable energy the environment is kept clean and safe for living .

My startup (power back up station) is for every home, business, schools and every establishment that needs a source of energy for comfort and to increase productivity. Everybody needs an alternative power backup solution, for periods when there is no light, our power station will serve. No more staying in the dark , no more noise and air pollution; our backup system gives everyone a reliable power source. The middle and low class in the community now have access to power backup solutions , Renewable energy is not only made for the rich, this is our interest which we are actualizing. We provide reliable and affordable means to renewable energy in the community.

There use to be this misconception that renewable energy is only for the rich but we have made this setup in a way that even the middle and low class in the community can afford, This is our interest which we are actualizing, we provide reliable and affordable means to renewable energy in the community. With the use of our renewable energy, harmful emissions are being eliminated, making the environment clean and safe to live in no more noise or air pollution which are harmful to the community. Power generated by renewable energy does not produce harmful carbon dioxide emissions that can lead to health risks. We support environmental sustainability through renewable energy source.

06.08 Justification for my startup

This innovation started many years ago, am always inquisitive, trying to bring positive change in any way I can, I always wonder if there could be a possibility for light to be long-lasting even when I do not know or heard about solar energy, I began to think for means to provide alternative source of light ; This enthusiasm pushed me to thinking about how I can use batteries to generate power I made my research and started some experiment with batteries in our own home. After so much thinking, research, trials and errors, I kept on trying until I successfully built phone power banks with batteries and I packaged it in a carton, some persons that believed in me, tested it and good enough it served them well. My power station is very unique, as it comes with an energy meter which enables our customers to know the amount of energy they are using , it also serve as a UPS and is Affordable . it is built with a high quality lithium iron phosphate battery.

Though There are many other brands that are into renewable energy. My major concern is to give my customers quality and affordable products, something that can last for years without issue, and good enough my customers testify to this and say that my product is even beyond their expectations, they willingly make reviews and advert bringing more buyers to me. I constantly think of new ideas and make research on ways to always improve my product and i get positive result everyday. people needs a reliable and quality system and that is what I offer and this draws customers who have encountered my product to me. My power station is very unique as it comes with an energy meter which enables our customers to track the amount of power they are using; This will enable them to be energy efficient My system is very simple to use: plug and play, it has 24/7 UPS reserve that can serve as backup for essential things; very durable, long lasting and affordable.
