In line with the Sustainable Development Goal number 6, DAEL CLEANING SERVICES was birthed with the vision of providing a safe environment for all as regards detailed environmental cleaning, fumigation, waste management and water analysis/treatment.

01.01 Describe your startup in more detail

Having studied the rate of poor environmental related diseases such as malaria and typhoid causing numbers of death in Nigeria and Africa at large, I came up with this prevention and solution measures of Professional Detailed Industrial & Domestic Cleaning, Detailed Interior & Exterior Fumigation, Waste Management/Evacuation and Water Analysis/Treatment. DAEL CLEANING SERVICES (DCS) is has the responsibility of providing and promoting good health and wellness through clean environment and safe water thereby making the goal number 2 of the SDG's a reality.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The problems I am trying to solve DAEL CLEANING SERVICES (DCS) are: 1) Pollution and environmental degradation 2) Waste mismanagement 3) Consumption of unsafe water 4) Environmental related diseases and mortality 5) Unemployment 6) Ignorance to environmental care

The benefits and solutions DAEL CLEANING SERVICES offers are: 1) Good Environmental Hygiene: Through professional detailed cleaning, fumigation against unwanted pests, waste management and safe water for consumption everyone can be rest assured of safety. 2) Reduction of environmental related diseases and deaths: Unarguably, one of the causes of death in Nigeria and Africa at large is poor environmental hygiene. This is where DAEL CLEANING SERVICES has come to bridge the gap through improved modern way of environmental care. 3) Proper and Profitable Management of Waste: The wastes will be collected and hand over to recycling companies in order to maximize value. 4) Reduction of Unemployment: DAEL CLEANING SERVICES will be engaging capable and professional hands to carry out the responsibilities there by making the people to be gainfully employed. We currently have students who join us to work part time in order to foot their academic bills

DAEL CLEANING SERVICES is open to serving and providing solutions of the environment to every class of the society without status bias. Availability and Affordability: We are available to all and still looking forward to spreading out reach to all urban and rural areas. We are affordable in as much it is a business solution, we are driven by value delivery not motivated by the monetary gain but how we have been able to create an impact to a problem of an engagement.

06.08 Justification for my startup

I am fully aware of the existence of numerous cleaning line. DAEL CLEANING SERVICES stands out as we don't just clean. Firstly, we work with well informed environmental professionals to give solutions to not only dirty environment but also to analyze water for safe consumption, properly managed waste for environmental safety. Industrial & domestic cleaning, fumigation waste management and water analysis & treat has been in existence but the potentials and importance not fully utilized to an economic, human and environmental benefit. DAEL CLEANING SERVICES has come to bridge the gap by remodeling through improved systematic operations.

06.09 Competitive Analysis

My main competitors are those that are in my line of business. The commercial cleaning business. Why we stand out: 1) We don't just clean: We engage and train professionals on technical cleaning to drive excellence in cleaning service delivery. We also carry out maintenance services & culture. We fix things that are not functioning, performing or not at their right possession. We make them right. 2) We fumigate with eco-friendly consumables/products: We are so conscious of human life, pets, plants and the general environment. This has helped us to be selective in the product we use as we involve the federal ministry of health for certifications/approvals before engaging on fumigation. 3) We recycle waste: After cleaning and evacuation of wastes, we turn the waste to economic benefits. 4) We scientifically examine and treat water where necessary for safe consumption. 5) We are active online making us reachable any day any time and we are available for projects at any location.

11.05 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?

YES I have female learners who comes in for skill acquisition training. Do far it has been free. Training on Domestic and Industrial Cleaning. We carry out theory training and practical on job sites. The aim is to equip the women to be skilled and economically relevant in the society.
