01.01 Describe your startup in more detail
Our first startup is BACH NUUDLES INSTANT ABACHA. It’s a less than 5 minutes instant meal having all you need to make a meal of African Salad in a pack. Bach nUUdles Instant Abacha, developed is an innovative food product designed to tackle post-harvest losses among cassava farmers and promote sustainable food security in Nigeria. This product is a key initiative from our startup, embodying our mission to address food crises through sustainable practices and technological innovation. Other products include; 2. CHOCOLATE CASSAVA CHIPS 3. SUNACEL INSTANT MOI-MOI 4. INSTANT AKARA For Economic Empowerment: Supporting local farmers and creating new market opportunities for farm products help stabilize and grow the local economy. Economic empowerment leads to more resilient communities and promotes sustainable development. For Health and Nutrition: Offering a nutritious food option that is both convenient and affordable addresses malnutrition and improves public health outcomes.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
According to unicef, 4 children suffer malnutrition/day and also there is 47% increase in food insecurity. Not to forget that Nigeria is the largest producers of cassava in the world having a whooping 55% post harvest lost and stop we are not near the first 20 exporters (FAO) All these food crisis leads to less processing of our food into long shelf nutritious yet convenient products. Post-Harvest Losses: Transforming cassava into a shelf-stable product to reduce spoilage and wastage. 2. Economic Instability for Farmers: Providing a stable and increased income for cassava farmers through value-added processing. 3. Food Insecurity: Enhancing food availability by extending cassava’s shelf life and creating new market opportunities. 4. Nutritional Deficiency: Offering a nutritious, convenient food option to combat malnutrition. 5. Environmental Impact: Promoting sustainable agricultural and manufacturing practices to minimize ecological footprints.

Our uniqueness is increasing the staple food table of instant organic foods for Al and this is new to our economic and feeding space. People living far away from where these local foods are available but because they are far away from the hinterlands, they can’t access these foods hygienically and conveniently
