My project is an Edtech platform that helps schools and teachers link up with each other through new job openings. The project will operate in an online space and will also have an app that will make meetups and connections easy.

My startup, K-Lite Solutions is an Edtech platform that will help schools and teachers link up. Schools usually struggle to get available teachers as easy and soon as possible. But with K-Lite Solutions, we will make it possible. Teachers do not always know where to start looking for new job openings but will be able to after accessing the Edtech platform. K-Lite Solutions will render help to schools, teachers and parents alike .

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

I am trying to solve a problem that arises most times at the beginning of a new academic session when teachers are being swapped and on the lookout for new job openings. When an emergency happens to a teacher and the school needs an immediate replacement, such problems could arise and K-Lite Solutions will help solve it. We want to help teachers get easy access to new well paid teaching jobs across Nigeria.

Schools that will use this service will get first hand information about available teachers who are ready to work. Teachers who use this service will be the first to get notified about new job openings and placement tests. They will also be entitled to get special packages and bonuses and points on the app which can be used to redeem gifts. K-Lite Solutions is here to benefit Nigerian teachers. Pupils, children, students will gain from this service Indirectly because they would not lack teachers in case of an emergency as learning continues at all times.

The targeted beneficiaries are Nigerian teachers and schools. Parents will benefit indirectly as they can access the platform to request for private tutors.

06.08 Justification for my startup

My project idea is unique because it focuses on teacher growth. The demand for teachers can never be overemphasized because other job portals are still not able to meet up with all the demands. K-Lite Solutions is here to do a thorough research on existing schools and their services and help them to be able to reach out to teachers whenever they need them. There is always a teacher a call away who is in need of a good paying job but does not know where to start from. The platform will be like an atlas for teachers where they will not have to worry about how unplanned the future may seem.

06.09 Competitive Analysis

The likes of jooble, jobberman, tuteria and other big recruitment firms are potential competitors. I stand out from them because K-Lite Solutions focuses on teachers alone and how to help them grow with different trainings and opportunities unlike the other platforms that have mixed job adverts. We will be focusing on teachers and schools full time.
