Mass production of cleaning and domestic use products

My initiative is aimed at producing cleaning products locally. I which to produce mostly cleaning products and car lubricants in near future.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

In my country, these products are imported which inflate the price of goods and services. If these basic essentials and produced locally, they will be affordable to everyone.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your startup provides (at least 3).

Price advantage is the chief benefit, affordability of services in the cleaning industry and being locally produced brings a sense of receiption by consumers.

01.04 Please describe who exactly your startup’s product/service is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

The youth will to start up cleaning services, offices that have already employed cleaner internally and retailers and large.

So far, dish wash and pine gel trainings have been received at an initial production stage which is employed. Its currently at testing and sampling level which is aimed at raising awareness and promotion. Marketing strategy is still lacking. However, the company is still at infant level.

My company is aimed at fellow youth empowerment. If the youths are empowered we can reduce the level of poverty in our country. Creating employment and capacity building is direction I wish to embark.

06.08 Justification for my startup

The product we wish to produce already exist in the market, however we wish them to be locally produced not import as finished products. We embrace all the opportunities of improvement and development that may come along the way. We would like engage in all possible area in this industry.

Already existing giants such as Taurus has a big share in the market of in Namibia as far as cleaning material distribution is concerned.

11.05 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?

In my country i have noted an interest in the same industry from female gender which is inspiring. I wish to give as many of to learn and embark in the same journey as I am. As part of the capacity building mentioned, female gender is mostly targeted. As the saying goes, to educate (empower) a woman is educating (empowering) a nation.
