Henns Flower Farm emerged from the COVID-19 pandemic, founded by an aunt and niece duo. This family-run farm introduced a stunning array of organically grown, unusual flowers to the market, challenging reliance on imports. By pioneering local flower farming, we transformed Namibia's floral industry, making beautiful, affordable flowers accessible to all. Namibia relies heavily on imported flowers, limiting choices and increasing costs. Us introducing over 60 varieties, including dahlias and zinnias, showcased Namibia’s potential for diverse blooms. We support local agriculture, reducing imports and carbon footprints. Organic methods ensure minimal environmental impact. We educate the public through workshops, and social media, promoting organic farming benefits and flower-growing skills. We believe everyone should access beautiful, fresh flowers. By growing locally, we offer affordable prices compromising quality, making flowers an everyday delight.

We are committed to reducing the carbon footprint associated with imported flowers by promoting local cultivation. By growing a diverse range of flowers right here in Namibia, we minimize the environmental impact of long-distance transportation. Our mission is to make flowers accessible to all, not just a luxury for the few. We believe everyone should enjoy the beauty of fresh blooms without high price tags , which often accompany imported flowers. We want to do this and still maintain a higher quality bloom. By offering locally grown flowers at affordable prices, we aim to democratize the joy of flowers and ensure they become a part of everyday life for Namibians. Ultimately, we aspire to make the reliance on imported flowers a thing of the past, transforming the floral landscape of Namibia through sustainability and accessibility.

We are dedicated to serving Namibia. Firstly, we cater to the public by offering affordable prices and a wide array of flower options. And ensure that everyone, regardless of budget, can enjoy high-quality flowers that are both fresh and diverse, enriching homes and special occasions alike. Secondly, we support Namibian florists by providing them with cost-effective, superior-quality flowers that last longer. This enables florists to enhance their floral arrangements, meet client demands more effectively, and ultimately grow their businesses by offering exceptional products. Thirdly, we collaborate with Namibian event planners to elevate their events to new heights. By expanding the range of flower varieties available locally, event planners can unleash their creativity, design stunning décor, and offer clients unparalleled choices. Her agricultural knowledge and dedication to organic practices have been instrumental in cultivating the farm's blooms. Venelee, a graphic designer by training, ventured into farming and now spearheads the farm's design, social media presence, event planning, and administrative tasks. While initially more versed in design and marketing, she is actively expanding her agricultural knowledge daily, contributing a creative and business-savvy perspective to the farm's operations. Together, their complementary skills and shared commitment to sustainable, diverse, and affordable floral offerings drive Henns Flower Farm's success and community impact.

For ages, Namibia had access to only a handful of imported flower varieties. Now, Henns Flower Farm offers Namibians a diverse array of options with innovative local farming practices, revolutionizing flower cultivation in the country.
06.09 Competitive Analysis
Henns Flower farm competes against established international suppliers with strong market presence, as well as Limited scale compared to larger international flower suppliers. We also compete with Economic Factors: Fluctuations in the economy affecting consumer spending on non-essential items like flowers. But with our lower prices customers still order. But we stand out by offering a wider range of flowers that cannot handle being imported for example dahlias cannot handle the import trip that well. We also focus on creating personal relationships with our clients and listening to their wants and needs something big corporations do not care about. We also eduacte the customer on how choosing our flowers is a more sustainable choice .
