Our proposed automated fumigation machine aims to reduce the risk of transmission of airborne, flying and crawling insect transmitted diseases and bacteria. By dispensing environmentally and human safe fumigants that kills germs that would spread diseases

With the emergence of COVID-19 in 2020, public health became a matter of key concern for governments across the world. Public transport and spaces remain quite a high-risk area in the spread of communicable diseases and viruses. There still exists a major challenge in addressing public spaces hygiene and they provide conducive breeding ground for bacteria and viruses.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

To reduce the spread of communicable diseases through preventive measures that will ensure public transport and spaces are effectively fumigated. With installation of our automated fumigation gadget onboard public transport vehicles which will dispense approved fumigants through air, the risk of airborne, flying and crawling insect transmitted diseases and bacteria will greatly reduce.

Joy Kathure Currently a senior procurement specialist, Joy holds a Bachelor's degree in commerce with a procurement specialization and currently perusing a Masters degree in Business administration. She brings onboard strong skills in operations management.
