A system that uses repulsive properties of magnetic like poles to repel vehicles in the verge of collisions. It will be automatically initiated by the proximity sensor or manually switched on by the driver when the judgement of the collision is sure.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

My project will utilize electricity from the engine and stepped-up to create a very strong magnetic force. When the proximity sensor detects a rapid approach of another vehicle from the front, it warns the driver then does the following in succession; it switches the system on automatically, disconnects fuel flow to the engine to switch off the engine and applies brakes. If the signal is from the rear sensor; it alerts the driver, the magnetic system is switched on, power is increased in the engine, if the car was on brakes it will release the brakes to make the vehicle free to move thus reducing the resistance against the impact.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Am trying to solve the menace of accidents that claims lives of many people daily worldwide. It will enhance the control of vehicles when the collision is imminent, and even if the driver freezes and surrenders the control of the vehicle when about time of collision.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).

The main advantage is to avoid losing of dear lives on road accidents through head-on or head-rear collisions. Secondly, it reduces the severity of the impact by reducing resistance of the impact. Thirdly, it puts the vehicle under the control when at the verge of collision. Lastly, the system assists the driver in decision making especially when not aware of the approaching vehicle from behind and when in dilemma of decisions or in confusion.

This project is deemed to serve everyone who travel through vehicles.

It is a new idea that has not appeared yet. The idea that is close to mine is the use of proximity sensors in Toyota Land cruiser.
