Affordable Local Studio is a project that aims to promote local content creators by ensuring they produce quality contents thus promoting their works on social media due to their clear visuals.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

Affordable Local Studio aims to helping local content creators who got great ideas but they lack the platform and also the equipments to produce their contents. I hope to ease and make this thing simple for all these local talented people. We hope to not only produce their contents for them but to also help them upload them to their social medias at as low as Ksh 50. This is in my concern that alot of people may have ideas but the resources draws in the line. In my case for example, I had this awesome idea of a new show in town. "Spill Out Show," that I wanted to air on YouTube. However I encountered a problem with my device. The visuals were not clear. Sound was poor and the worst of them all, was going to spend so much in terms of bundles. Affordable Local Studio project thus comes in that we take charge of all this expenses. From helping our clients prepare their stuffs using our accessories and also post them on their social handles for them at an affordable amount of money.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

In the quest of the Sustainable development goals established by the United Nations to achieve a better and more sustainable future by addressing global challenges, my project is in line with those sustainable development goals and touches 7 out of the 17 SDGs. To begin with 1. No poverty, my project aims to help small content creators be able to create themselves a life out of their works such that there's massive wealth in media. 2. Zero hunger - when these content creators have enough from their works they will be able to feed themselves and the people around them. 3. Gender equality - In that alot of women are neglected in many fields, I hope to empower many women in film and production industry. 4. Decent work and economic growth - I hope to lay a decent platform for merited individuals in production industry. 5. Innovation - I hope to trigger innovation to a top notch level. 6. Responsible consumption and production - this project is to enhance resource and economic stability

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).

1. The project will boost innovative ideas in the country because I hope to bring the idea to the entire country to encourage many youths to be able to venture into this project. 2. The project would be able to promote economic growth as it will open opportunities for employment across the country and even beyond as there are so many unemployed individuals with skills in this production industry. 3. Affordable Local Studio would enhance gender equality as my major target is to empower more women to venture into this production industry. 4. The project would enhance partnership among stakeholders to enhancing a better and more sustainable future in line with the 17 Sustainable development goals.

01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

Affordable Local Studio project aims to empowering the disadvantaged content creators who got no platforms and enough resources to produce their work of art to the timeline. We hope to walk a journey worth thousands miles to ensure talents are not left unattended to. We also aim to empowering more women to venture into creative industry and make themselves a decent living.

My partners are my colleagues in the field of creative industry in Maasai Mara University. We work together in production of contents and films. They really motivate me because of their intelligent ideas and motivated zeal to work best to produce the best.

05.08 Justification

Unlike other wide range existing services which focuses only on producing works of arts at the owners expense, Affordable Local Studio hopes to ease the expenditure of the upcoming content creators by playing a bigger part in the entire production.

Major production studios. What makes me outstanding is that I envision to supporting small content creators in the country.
