01.01 Describe your project in more detail
Moles are a significant pest in agricultural communities, causing extensive damage to crops and soil structures. Despite their impact, current market solutions lack efficacy and specificity. Our project aims to fill this gap with an innovative technological mole trap designed to effectively and humanely eradicate mole populations. Our mole trap utilizes advanced sensors and AI technology to detect mole activity with precision. The system comprises a network of ground sensors that monitor soil vibrations and movement patterns unique to moles. Once mole activity is detected, the trap is activated. The trap features a non-toxic, environmentally friendly mechanism that captures moles without harming other wildlife or contaminating the soil. The trap's design includes solar-powered units for sustainability and remote monitoring capabilities, allowing farmers to receive real-time alerts on their mobile devices. This feature ensures timely intervention and reduces labor costs associated
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
