A mobile washing machine that is able to move or navigate doing laundry typically as a normal mamafua.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

My project entails the use of a mobile solar powered washing machine.The mobility will be helped by mainly a solar powered motor vehicle and if not present then an electric powered one and if the two are not available then we can use the diesel powered minivan.The vehicle will be loaded at the back with a 1000ltr of water tank and a solar powered machine.The solar will be place at the roof of the vehicle and connection done so it can power up the washing machine.The 1000ltr of water can be put as a reservoir so where water is not available we use that water.Once the machine is powered on and water and detergents are availed our mamafua can now begin it's chore.Clothes are weighed before washing them so we can determine their value per kg (affordable price) Then our work can begin.After cleansing the customer can now pay get his clothes and our service will be delivered to the customer then we set the ball rolling to another client.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

I am trying to solve the problems our mothers are going through by their daily mamafua shores that they undertake trying to meet their daily and basic needs.Mordern mobile mamafua is a mechanized mamafua and will literally help our mothers who are doing the laundry work do it in an easy way,in a fast way, in a more professional way and also profitable.As they can now weigh clothing and charge them per kg compared to the previous ways where they were just allocated bulk of clothing and decide the laundry price by just the look of the laundry size.This will really empower that woman who has been regarded as a low class for over many years now and will motivate them do their chores and even double or even triple by far what they used to do in previous years.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).

One is to maximize the work done per day in the daily life of a mamafua.When a machine takes part in doing chores it always does more than what our hands could do.Doing more work means more profit in daily life instances thus increasing profits for our mamafuas My project also aims at making the work of a mamafua easier,enjoyable and doable as laundry is not an easy thing when it is done by bare hands.A machine will also bring out outstanding results as it will do laundry without tiring and by cleaning clothing in a uniform manner this clients for mamafuas will enjoy the result and reduce the conflicts between mamafuas and her clients as she sometimes get tired and decides to do shoddy work just to get pay. Woman empowerment as our mothers,sisters and wives have been looked down upon for many years so them owning these machine will be able to upgrade their standards and make them do their chores now in a more professional,fast and classy way

01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

My targeted beneficiaries are the mamafuas who for a very long time have suffered the wrath of the desire to provide for their families and their daily basic needs I am also aiming at reaching out to people like the campus students who are unable to own washing machines and need their laundry done mostly at their premises,and also anyone else who needs this service and is unable to reach out to a laundry premises The youths can also own such a machine in their groups and use it to meet their day to day needs and also help keep them busy and moving and more importantly working and making money

When one now owns this machine may it be the youth groups,the women groups or the mamafuas themselves they will be able to 1 maximize their profits as laundry is a very profitable field that has not been much exploited.Campus students who are in their thousands need services such as this but they lack them because the services are not available or a scarce .so anyone who will own such a machine will surely forget about the low life they once lived in and will surely boast of how much the profit they are taking home especially on weekends. 2 Our youths will no longer get idle once they get to have this machine in their hands, they will be moving working and most importantly making money which will help fight poverty levels and reduce the levels significantly

What is the reason of working without placing anything on the table??.My project is aiming at not only reducing poverty levels but to also ensure and provide food security in ones house hold.When a person owns such a machine he/she will surely be doing laundry in the most efficient and profitable way possible thus will be able to get money and money will get them food and not only food but enough food coz they are working.

Having been through a mamafua experience, my wife turning into a mamafua I surely had to come up with this idea to help and motivate a woman like her.Mamafuas are one of the groups in Kenya that are really looked down upon and I would really like to give a hand in uplifting their status and empowering these women so that the society can respect them and seen as people of class and profession.

My idea is unique and innovative because there has never been such before it's similar to that of a car wash but now this time round the laundry way.

The present laundry business ar my greatest competitors but what makes me stand out is the fact that I will be mobile and will go to the customer while they wait for them making me more likely to win more

Yes. Females are also humans and they can do what males can do or even do them better. I once helped my mother start up a poultry business and now she is doing good
