Describe your project or startup in a few words

I have a vision of setting up a well furnished modernized min supermarket that can serve customers on a daily basis goods and services they need for daily consumption, including and not limited to; foodstuffs, bookshop, Mpesa,chemist, gas,and households.

Through this project/ business put in place, I believe the following problems will be solved at a good percentage; 1. Unemployment Crisis in our county. 2. Access to affordable and fair price goods. 3. Access to financial services

The wide range of products and services offered have the following benefits/ and advantages; 1. The goods are basic and daily consumed by all people, 2. The goods are offered at a retail price and therefore readily available, 3. Mpesa Services offered are money transactions done by everybody on a daily basis, 4. The products are readily available from suppliers who are in the town, 5. The products offered are especially foodstuffs are for a healthy body for any consumer, 6. Chemist good/ services are good for providing a healthy body, conditions for the unwell customers, 7. Cooking gas services are good for environment conservation as an alternative to firewood and charcoal.

My target customers are all residents around the proposed business site and all who reside within our reach.

1. The 5 partners are well informed and skilled entrepreneurs three of them (female ) have 3 years experience in small scale agribusiness. 2. All the partners are youths 3. 4 of the partners are high school finalists while 1 is a college finalist. 4. Non of the partners are physically challenged (not living with disability)

My project aims to uplift the lives of Kenyans through employment creation to at least 100 - 200 youths who will work as cashiers, tellers, casual workers, packagers, security guards, transporters, supervisors and professionals. This will help them earn some salary in aid to uplifting their livers and fighting poverty.

Goods and services produced by my project aims at reaching out to those who earn low to ensure that non misses something to put on the table because he or she does not have money to buy expensive foodstuffs.

Through the chemist shop within the supermarket, customers will have an opportunity to be offered pharmacy services at an affordable price including body tests, medical checkup and diagnosis of the patients as well drug/ medicine prescription. I believe this will help in good health and well being of people.

The youths who will be employed in various departments will regularly undergo trainings and attend workshops which will provide skills and knowledge in the entrepreneurship field. This will be a learning field to many.
