With partnerships with both Freelance and fully established businesses in the service industry, CLIVICE aims to revolutionize how consumers interact with service acquisition by improving the convenience of the procurement process by eliminating hurdles like security risks, logistical problems, time collisions, monetary conflicts and discrimination among the different emerging communities like persons with disabilities, LGBTQ community and the many classifications of the female clientale.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Unemployment among the African youth and their over-reliance on formal employment. This greatly contributes to Africa's poverty problems. There is a lot of skilled labor in Africa but there are not enough Jobs to go around. As a result, it is common to find graduates doing menial jobs. They clean floors in hotels and sell mobile telephone calling cards—some even work in factories as laborers. But under-employment is not a solution to poverty. This is an unacceptable reality on a continent with such an impressive pool of youth, talent and creativity. CLIVICE aims to bridge the gap between these freelance service vendors and their respective clients irrespective of whether they own a smartphone or not. The youth are creative enough to innovate and offer various service solutions to their respective communities but lack a way of reaching out to clients to earn a living from it.
