While there exists the concept of a rage room in Kenya, mine seeks to address more than just angry destruction.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

The concept entails a 3 tier set up for a rage room in Kenya, not only will it be excellently crafted with different themes for different rooms. But I would like there to be an extra addition to the service, the introduction of both an alcohol infused ice-cream station at the site, as well as the availability of access to counsellor on site, should a client want to address their issues further and not feel alone. The soothing nature of alcohol infused (will also have alcohol free snacks) and counselling services outlines my basis for this project, mental health.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Rage rooms are notoriously known for being one of the best ways to deal with an angry, sad or adrenalin seeking mind. However I wouldn't want it to end there hence the space for guys to bond over a snack, or talk to a professional. The number 1 goal for dealing with mental issues is making sure a person is heard.

If executed correctly, we get to help reduce the effect of mental health issues and all who come here.

Adrenalin seeking junkies People suffering from various mental health issues like depression, anger issues, unresolved complications, etc.

Power consumption will start off hybrid before we have enough to fully integrate solar power for the establishment, the main users of energy will probably be the ice-cream shop and lighting for the rage room (led low energy consumtpion)

05.08 Justification

It's mental health awareness, with a twist. A fun twist that is more affordable than the thousands of dollars spent in psych wards.

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?

There's only one operating rage room that I know of and it's where I got the idea to improve..in my opinion much much more could have been done. Inspirations are other countries who have successfully achieved this.

10.06 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?

Not sure if this qualifies but my go-to for resources whenever outsourcing for various reasons is always female owned businesses.
