The Ecoharness Wellspring projecct is a project that is designed to draw water from a well using principles of pressure, and gravity, eliminating the need for a generator or a pump, making life better and easy.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

This project is about setting up a system aimed at drawing water from a well using gravity and applied pressure principles. This system aims at reducing energy costs while offering clean water supply throughout the application site. It can be widely helpful in homes, tree nurseries, small and large companies among others. We aim at starting and operating a company that produces these specialized parts that will be joined to form the Ecoharness Wellspring. It comprises of a water reservoir, inlet and outlet pipes and a few other accessories that can be readily available. This is going to be a game changer among water extraction systems.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The main problem to be solved is offering energy efficient and uncostly water extraction solutions that works 24 hours a day conveniently without the need to be on grid or wait for solar to reach a favourable intensity. We want to have clean water using clean solutions, the Ecoharness Wellspring.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).

1. Energy dependance and cost savings Our system greatly reduce the need for electricity since it works completely free of other external energy needs. By eliminating the need for electricity, users will be able to save on electricity bills and use the money to do other projects. 2. Reliability and ease of use Traditional or mechanical pumps pose a great hazard to use by children, the elderly and even women. Our project, once installed can be used by all members of the community, since it only involves turning the tap on t0 get water and off to stop.

01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

My project is targeted at local communities, irrigation schemes, nurseries, farmers, industries, companies and any other parties with constant need of access to clean water drawn from lower grounds up.

Brian Odeoh, is a tech enthusiast. Graduate Actuarial Science student at Moi University, Eldoret. Key skills include programing, sales and marketing, digital marketing and ICT. Faith Muti student at Kaimosi Teachers Training college. A tech enthusiast, planner and coordinator with experience in sales, entrepreneurship and health awareness. Alex Grevin is an Electrical engineer experienced in electronic and mechanical engineering. He is also good at community projects, volunteering and sociql influencing.

With adequate water supply through gravity, Ecoharness Wellspring will provide irrigation solutions leading to adequate farming and production, thus increasing availability of food on the table and even more to it for sale and earning an extra income.

Water is an essential driver of day to day activities. Our project offers very affordable and clean water extraction systems using gravity, and not carbon emmisions like the ones mechanical water pumps emit to our beautiful environment.

10.06 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?

Yes. We have a youth group where I am an organizing secretary and we really push for female entrepreneurs though empowering them to undertake small businesses at home, of their own choice and we support them where we can.
