The creation of biogas from food waste. This takes place in purpose built waste bins that contain bacteria which catalyses the production of biogas.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

Domestic food waste is one of the major sources of green house gases that impact on climate change. My project is all about how we can turn that waste into recyclable energy for domestic use. Instead of dump sites that end up being unmanageable, my project finds value in the waste in form of biogas

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

I'm trying to give affordable energy solutions to the average domestic user and concurrently limit emission of green house gases.

Affordable energy Cleaner environment by elimination of dump sites. Positive impact on the climate by reduction of green house gases emitted by waste.

My target beneficiary is the average domestic user who finds it difficult to afford market price gas.

My main potential competitors are companies that provide LPG gas for consumers, I believe I'm better than them because I will be affordable and environmental friendly.
