Our project aims to revolutionize Kenya's rental market through a comprehensive house-hunting platform, available as both a web and mobile app. This platform will centralize all rental listings across the country, providing users with up-to-date information on available properties. The core feature is a powerful search functionality, allowing clients to filter and view only vacant units. Listings are organized by estates, offering detailed information on location, amenities, and property manager contacts. To ensure real-time data accuracy, the app includes a dedicated property manager panel. Property managers can update estate information, manage vacancy statuses, and provide essential details. This system ensures clients always have access to current and reliable information. Our goal is to streamline the rental process, offering a seamless, user-friendly experience for clients searching for homes and property managers maintaining their listings.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
The primary problem we aim to solve is the inefficiency and lack of transparency in the rental market in Kenya. Currently, potential tenants face numerous challenges, including outdated listings, incomplete property information, and a fragmented market where finding a suitable rental can be time-consuming and frustrating. Property managers also struggle with effectively communicating vacancies and updating property details in real time, leading to missed opportunities and prolonged vacancy periods. Our platform addresses these issues by centralizing all rental listings, ensuring real-time updates on property availability, and providing comprehensive estate information. This not only simplifies the search process for tenants but also enhances property managers' ability to maintain accurate and current listings, ultimately creating a more efficient and transparent rental market.
