01.01 Describe your project in more detail

My Online platform is coming to start small but atake over the growing e-market. Where as lots of such platforms offer their goods for sale. My platform will NOT engage in any biz. Our role will be to offer a platform, a field of play for sellers and buyers to meet. And now that everyone is embracing tech, it's the one field that if you give me a chance to start small, my start up will be the next big thing. I stay in Thika town and everyone is a business person, when Raia is launched, we will make it easy and convenient to buy and sell and buy, at the comfort of your couch. This will offer place for both New and Used Goods and also Services. We will start by making it free for all. Imagine telling a shop owner to take pics of goods then sell for FREE! Who doesn't want free things?? And to make the business proper, grow and reach more and even grow beyond borders, there shall be Premium Offer where u pay something small for your sale to be placed first in the group, this will boom

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Bridge the gap between Sellers and Buyers and GREATEST of all, CREATE JOBS

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).

1.Create Employment. I can buy in wholesale and resale thus get something out of it, and this applies to lots of people. When we do advertising I imagine the number of youths who will get employment. From the customer care personnel to technicians who post the clients postings, crutinize the postings and flag the ones that are not as per our terms. Our main aim.of the project is to target the YOUTHS who are most neglected and vulnerable. And this will employ millions directly and indirectly. 2.Enlighten people to embrace tech as the way to go. Since even Total minus tech is just NOT possible. 3.Create a serious competition in the Online Market. 4.Imagining how a mama mboga can post her greens, customer requests, a boda boda guy delivers. From there, already NOT less than 4 people are employed by Raia Online Market DIRECTLY ie the farmer, mama mboga, Raia workers and boda guy. Reap big when Companies eg Total,Safaricom,Equity, etc advertise in special live videos section. More JOBS!

01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

This is a big ONLINE project means noone is left behind. As long as you have a phone and internet access, you are good to go. It's mainly targeting MILLIONS of jobless youths but our fathers mother and grannies are also aboard. It's a COUNTRYWIDE PROJECT which if we'll managed, has high chances of growing across the borders of Africa, and who knows, it can as well go International as Total Energies. Infact the project will be targeting youths most,since they are the biggest population.

1. Jumia They only sell their products for sale only, while we give platform for everyone to sell and buy 2. Jiji They are not so much well known to a villager or a mama mboga. I will venture alot on promotion. Jiji also limits customers postings like a customer cannot post under a electronics for free, you must pay to post. Whereas we say, everything you post if free, only when you want your posting to be posted as a priority on top, that's when you have to pay
