A wearable bio adhesive capable of detecting acute liver failure which is always 98% fatal if not detected early.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

Our team has formulated a wearable bio adhesive the size of a rubber band that can detect acute liver failure early for treatment. This is achieved through ultrasound shear wave elastography. Our technology will be the first in the world capable of running for 48hrs straight.

✓The risk and time involved in traditional invasive techniques to detect liver failure.

✓The patient gets regular readings of their liver functions remotely. ✓Eliminates the risks involved in traditional surgical procedures for detecting liver failure. ✓Provides continuos liver readings for 48hrs .

Our target market is patients suffering from liver conditions which require constant monitoring.

The team is a motley crew of 2 bioengineers, a software developer and a chemist. With a combined experience of over 12 yrs in the field of biotechnology,our research has borne fruits.With the skills of our software engineer, a programme for running simulations of our tech has proved effective.
