E-mobility is a comprehensive mobile app for electric vehicle (EV) owners, offering detailed information on nearby charging stations. With intuitive map navigation, users can easily locate stations, filter results based on preferences, and access real-time updates on availability. The app provides directions to selected stations, helping users plan efficient routes. Additionally, it may offer features like payment integration, user reviews, and personalized recommendations. E-mobility aims to enhance the EV charging experience, promoting sustainability in transportation.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The main problem E-mobility addresses is the inconvenience and uncertainty associated with finding and accessing charging stations for electric vehicles. Many EV owners face challenges in locating nearby stations, checking availability, and planning routes effectively, leading to range anxiety and inefficient travel experiences. By providing comprehensive information and real-time updates on charging station availability, E-mobility aims to streamline the charging process, alleviate concerns, and promote widespread adoption of electric vehicles for a sustainable future in transportation.

The major benefits of using E-mobility include: 1. Convenience: Users can easily locate nearby charging stations, check availability, and plan routes, reducing the time and effort spent on finding suitable charging points. 2. Peace of mind: Real-time updates on charging station availability help alleviate range anxiety, ensuring users can charge their vehicles when needed without worrying about running out of power. 3. Efficiency: By providing directions to selected charging stations and offering features like payment integration and user reviews, E-mobility streamlines the charging process, making electric vehicle travel more convenient and enjoyable. 4. Promoting investment in Electric Taxis and motorbikes because most of the users complain about the difficulty in finding a charging station .

E-mobility is aimed at serving electric vehicle (EV) owners as the primary beneficiaries. This includes individual drivers, businesses with EV fleets, and organizations promoting sustainable transportation initiatives. Additionally, the project targets city planners and policymakers aiming to support EV adoption by providing infrastructure and resources to enhance the EV charging experience. Ultimately, E-mobility strives to benefit society as a whole by facilitating the transition to cleaner, more sustainable modes of transportation.

The co-founders bring diverse skills and experience to the table. Augustine Okoth has expertise in renewable energy, entrepreneurship, business development, and web design. Joan Winny's background includes project management, agribusiness, and environmental science. Together, they combine technical know-how with business acumen to drive E-Mobility App forward.

Fossil fuels are the number one reason for climate change. Yet electric vehicles are available for purchase, people still buy petrol cars because of reliability. Many electric vehicles owners have complained about lack of charging station and the long duration, since they have to line up. Our technology will encourage adoption on electric vehicles since charging ports will be accessible. Thereby promoting green technology and clean energy use.

Since, most electric vehicles and bikes are owned by taxi men and boda boda guys, our application will enable them to make good income without disruption. Besides, the reliability of our app will encourage more people to join in the business or acquire electric motorbikes that the government is already offering on loans.

This is to encourage more people to use electric vehicles, hence reducing pollution caused by fossil fuel from petrol vehicles. The product/service we envision creating represents an entirely new type of product/service and could be described as a new technology. Our project, E-mobility, introduces a novel approach to addressing the challenges of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. While there are existing apps like Google maps that provide information on charging stations, E-mobility distinguishes itself by offering a comprehensive solution that goes beyond basic location data. One key aspect of our innovation is the real-time updates on charging station availability. Many existing apps provide static information on charging station locations but lack real-time data on whether the stations are currently in use or how many charging ports are available. E-mobility bridges this gap by providing users with up-to-the-minute information on station availability, helping them plan their charging stops more efficiently and avoid unnecessary detours or long wait times.

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?

Our main potential competitors in the electric vehicle charging app market include established platforms like Google maps and PlugShare. However, what sets E-mobility apart is its focus on real-time updates on charging station availability, user-friendly interface, and potential integration with emerging technologies like smart grids and renewable energy sources. Unlike some competitors, E-mobility provides users with up-to-the-minute information on station availability, helping them plan their charging stops more efficiently. Additionally, our app features a sleek and intuitive design, making it easy for users to find and navigate to charging stations. Moreover, our potential integration with smart grid systems and renewable energy sources sets us apart by offering a more sustainable and efficient charging infrastructure for electric vehicle owners.

Yes, I'm deeply committed to promoting female entrepreneurship within my community. I regularly share my personal journey, challenges, and insights with others, particularly on platforms like LinkedIn. As an active member of Women Tech, I contribute to initiatives aimed at supporting and empowering women in the tech industry. Additionally, I find fulfillment in mentoring young women, including girls interested in coding, and providing them with guidance and encouragement to pursue their aspirations. Recently, I had the privilege of participating in the Young Women Leadership Program, where I was able to further develop my leadership skills and inspire others to reach their full potential.
