Describe your project or startup in a few words

My project is more of agricultural based. To use Arduino Uno to detect the soil moisture by the help of soil moisture sensor to measure the moisture capacity of the soil and thus irrigating the farm.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

It may include some components such as soil moisture sensor, the arduino Uno, servo pump, Lcd display When this components are connected in an order they will work together. So when soil moisture sensor is kept in a dry soil it indicates on an Lcd display that the soil moisture is below the required measurements as it is programmed in the arduino, thereby activating the servo pump to pump water to the soil thus wetting the soil.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Drought and hunger through innovation of irrigation mechanism.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).

It will help the farmers to produce more of the farm produce regardless of the fluctuations of the rainy seasons caused by the global warming.

Farmers and business ventures. Since a farmers will produce the goods and sell them to people that have ventured in business in agricultural products.
