Describe your project or startup in a few words
"Renewable energy is transforming the global energy landscape, and wind power is playing a crucial role in this transition. my goal is to make wind energy available even to low income earners.
01.01 Describe your project in more detail
As the world grapples with the challenges of climate change, energy security, and economic sustainability, the adoption of wind power is emerging as a key solution. With its ability to generate clean and reliable electricity, wind power is already driving economic growth, creating jobs, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. In Africa, where wind resources are abundant and the demand for clean energy is growing, the development of a wind power project is poised to make a significant impact on the local economy and environment. By harnessing the power of wind, we can reduce our reliance on fossil fuels, create new opportunities for local communities, and contribute to a more sustainable future." what my project is doing is making this more achievable through the manufacturing of wind power harvesting equipment using locally available and recycled materials.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
by manufacturing wind power harvesting equipment locally using recycled materials, the carbon foot print of electricity generation in Kenya will reduce. currently, such equipment is expensive and not readily available to every household or business that might require.
01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).
