Make a dam to harvest rain water during rain seasons, then sell it to framers during drought.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

Make a small dam to harvest rain running water during rain seasons store the water in plastic tanks. Buy pipes to supply water to farmers for irrigation during dry seasons, install token metre for payment.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Drought. I come from a semi arid area so we plant, before the crops mature the rain seasons is over so there is less or no harvest at all. So this project is to save the running water which goes to waste and use it when the season is over.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).

1.Food security. There will be assured harvest so enough food to the farmers 2.Job creation. This project assure framers of harvest so more people Will be involved in framing and agricultural at large this will create more job opportunities direct and indirect. 3.Eradicate poverty. People will have more than they need and as there is water they will practices cash crop framing this will raise standards of life of people benefiting from the project

1.Jobless youths so that they will practices agribusiness. 2.As many framers as possible those surrounding community to solve food problem in the community and country at large.

05.08 Justification

It is a new type of service there has never been a drought solving project, it is a new technology as they will pay through token metre. this will save a range of services the water will be used for irrigation, animals Will drink and can be treated for human conception, this is a need that has not been satisfied water has never been saved for irrigation we always depend on rain which goes before harvest.

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?

Tavevo water they supply borehole water to the near by towns for house hold only I save rain water supply to all farmers they do not cover all areas especially rural

Yes this project is free so female will be able to practice self employment.
