01.01 Describe your project in more detail
Most sawmills regard tree barks as waste and dont really see if the have benefits. Our project aims at utilizing such to create a high quality manure that will be made available to farmers at a highly relative low price. This will boost food production, reduce CO2 emmision int the atmosphere, and create employement to the large army of unemployed youths. By creating employment to these pool of the unemployed, we will help deal with the vice most communities deal with of reducing crime rates.

The project aims to combat a number of problems: 1. Greenhouse gasses emission. 2. Food insecurity. 3. Unemployement. 4. Insecurity through crime.

Our product has a number of benefits. They are: 1. Provide bumper harvest. 2. Utilizes tree barks that are otherwise burnt to produce CO2. 3. Provides employment.

Our project is targets a number of groups. They are: 1. Youths through employement. 2. Farmers.

We intend to engage different groups with different skills sets. The first group will include experts in agriculture, finance, and supply chain. The second group will include semi-skilled personnel who will be involved in operations of the manure production. The last group will be the unskilled people who will be utlized to undertake manual works at the operatios center.

05.08 Justification
Creation of manure from tree barks is a new product that has not been invented in the past. Its an extension of a variety of fertilizers that are available in Kenya. There has been rising demand of fertilizer but it has not been fully satisfied. Thus, the need to bring this product in the market.

Fertlizer dealers.
10.06 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?
Yes. Through provision of cheap manure, we will have female farmers who we will provide it and help them through agribusiness.
