01.01 Describe your project in more detail
AB TECH GLOBAL ENGINEERS is a startup that aims to empower mechanical engineering graduates through comprehensive training programs and hands-on experience in fabrication technology. Our project addresses the skills gap in the engineering sector by providing specialized training in modern fabrication techniques, thereby enhancing the employability of graduates. We aim to offer practical workshops, mentorship programs, and real-world project experience. Our goal is to create a workforce that is well-equipped with the latest industry skills, ready to meet the demands of modern engineering challenges.To ensure continuity of business , we will use the available trained workforce since they will be training with real world environmental projects which we intend to take to market.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
The primary problem we are addressing is the skills gap faced by mechanical engineering graduates in Kenya. Many graduates struggle to find employment due to a lack of practical experience and advanced skills in fabrication technology. This gap hinders their ability to contribute effectively to the engineering sector and limits their career opportunities. By providing targeted training and real-world experience, our project aims to bridge this gap, ensuring that graduates are job-ready and capable of meeting industry demands.

Enhanced Employability: Graduates gain practical skills and experience, making them more attractive to employers. Industry-Ready Workforce: Our training ensures that participants are up-to-date with the latest fabrication technologies and techniques. Income Generation: Enable trainees to earn while learning, creating a sustainable income source. Economic Empowerment: By securing better job opportunities, graduates can improve their economic status and contribute to local economic growth.

Our project primarily targets recent mechanical engineering graduates who are seeking to enhance their skills and employability. Additionally, we aim to benefit the broader engineering sector by providing a skilled workforce capable of meeting modern fabrication and technology demands. Local businesses and industries will also benefit from having access to well-trained engineers, which can lead to increased productivity and innovation.
