Renaji Solutions is a company that manufactures and produces green energy products and solutions. Our mission is to combat climate change by delivering clean energy solutions. Our goal is to reduce energy costs & make modern energy available for all.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

Renaji Solutions is a renewable energy company specializing in organic waste management for the production, processing, and packaging of clean biogas, unlocking renewable fuel for cooking homes and businesses as well as fuel for transportation. We transform organic waste into renewable energy, empowering communities and protecting our environment. The waste undergoes a process that converts it into biomethane as our end product with the digestate as the byproduct. The digestate is used as fertilizer, animal feed, and soil amendments. The produced biomethane is a renewable substitute for fossil fuels, contributing to carbon neutrality and supporting global climate goals. Biomethane offers reduced energy costs as a cheaper alternative for cooking fuel in homes and businesses as well as fuel for transportation helping people realize financial gains. The human-enhanced greenhouse effect by vehicles using biomethane significantly reduces greenhouse gas emissions.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

The human-enhanced greenhouse gas emissions, pollution of the environment from mismanagement of organic waste, and high cost of LPG for cooking are issues that we are aiming to address. Biomethane combustion releases no harmful gases into the atmosphere, organic waste management through the 3Rs of the environment, and provision of affordable and clean cooking fuel are the various solutions we aim to offer as our action against climate change.

01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

1. Homes- Affordable cost of biogas for cooking will help people realize reduced energy costs compared to LPG use. 2. Transportation and logistics - Use of Biomethane for transportation allows vehicle users to have an affordable and cleaner alternative of fuel compared to fossil fuels that pollutes the environment. 3. Farmers - Digestate as a byproduct is a good source of organic nutrients for crop farming. 4. Eateries- Businesses that deal in sale of foodstuffs realize cheaper operating costs due to the affordable nature of Biogas compared to LPG.

The creation of employment opportunities for the local communities and street persons gives them a source of income thus contributing to ending poverty in all its forms. The affordable cost of the biogas to low-income earners helps end poverty by reducing the cost of living as well.

The byproduct produced during the processing of biomethane is digestate. It can be used for agricultural purposes such as organic fertilizer and soil amendment. This promotes sustainable agriculture since the fertilizer will be available at an affordable price. The organic nature of the fertilizer supports crop farming with nutrients for all consumable food crops achieving a balanced diet and improving nutrition. Food security is achieved through the ample supply of soil amendments that will be used in crop farming to facilitate a high crop yield.

The reduction in release of greenhouse gases will help to ensure healthy lives and promote well -being for all at all ages. Biogas is a better alternative compared to firewood that releases smoke that affects the human respiratory system. Vehicles running on biomethane as fuel contribute significantly in the reduction of greenhouse gases that are released into the atmosphere.

The cosnsumption & production of food from agriculture is turned into agricultural, domestic, and human waste ensuring sustainable consumption and production patterns. A circular economy is created through this model of consumption and production that results in waste which is a raw material for the project. The recycling of waste is in turn converted to biomethane and digestate, which are used in the production and consumption of food as fuel for cooking and raw material for crop farming.

05.08 Justification

My project idea is unique and innovative since our products are yet to be common in many households. Packaged biomethane is a new technology in itself. The use of biomethane is also unique and innovative in itself.

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?

Our main potential competitors are LPG and Autogas vendors. What makes us stand out from them is that we are offering an affordable and cleaner product compared to LPG. We are also giving people the opportunity to contribute to reduced greenhouse gas emissions and help fight climate change.

10.06 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?

Purchase of groceries from female greengrocers. Purchase of clothing items from female food vendors. Promoting their essential businesses on my social media platforms.
