01.01 Describe your project in more detail
Ideal (Bootcamp) Africa is a six(6) weeks career and business workshop that will be based in Nairobi, Kenya. The workshop seeks to empower youths and women under 40 years to succeed by connecting them to masterminf groups of between 5 to 20 members. The idea behind this workshop is to act as a factory that nurtures dreams and aspirations of thousands of Kenyans, especially Youths and Women who are often vulnerable when it comes to finding opportunities. Through this workshop, we will provide three programs: Networking Program -Being that we plan to bring people seeking career and business opportunities, it will be easier for them to network amongst each other and from other professionals outside the workshop. Accelerator Proggram - Here, we will accelerate our members careers and businesses by connecting them to jobs and entrepreneurial opportunities. Investment Program - Working together in groups, our members would leverage on each others limited skills to create sustainable wealth.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
Ideal (Bootcamp) Africa main reason for existance is to help reduce poverty in Kenya and across Africa by providing alternative ways that can help people create sustainable wealth. This, according to my reasoning would happen if people find stable jobs and more people create those jobs through entrepreneurship. I believe, that Kenya being a developing country, most people have developed ways of absorbing Business Capital Challenges by working together in groups to raise capital and start businesses which has proven to be successful and at Ideal (Bootcamp), we are taking this a little notch higher by bringing these people in a more radical and professional platform. We will also be providing modern career training and connecting our members to job opportunities thus reducing unemployment.

Our members will be able: a) To acquire the right skills for the modern job market thus making them more employable. b) To leverage on each other limited resources to grow and create sustainable wealth. c) To create sustainable career and business networks from diverse professional background c) To mobilize the resources of the individual members for their collective economic development thus uplifting their living conditions. d) To create a habit of savings and investments through group projects e) Utilization of local resources which are idle through members. f) To mobilize individual skills for group’s interest.ers financially at the time of need and make them free from the clutch of greedy money lenders. g) To gain entrepreneurial competencies by utilizing the inherent talent and skill. h) To develop linkages with Companies, Agencies and NGOs for financial and non-financial assistance.

The project aim at adressing Youth and Women economic challenges including: 1) Unemployment ( By connecting members to jobs and career opportunities by linking them to a network of employers) 2) Entrepreneurial Challenges (by helping members work on business ideas, raise capital and manage businesses as groups) 3) Poverty and wealth disparity (by bridging the poverty gap among youths and women by connecting them to wealth creation and investment opportunities)

One of Ideal (Bootcamp) agenda is promote entrepreneurial capabilities of our members and some of the core sectors which we will promote in terms of financing includes: Agriculture, Nutrition and Food security Industries. This will ensure that we help aleviate hunger through agricultural production and value addition. We will also encourage our members to be in the forefront in coming up with innovatve ideas that promote food security.

02.03.02 Good health and well-being - Justification
The overall health and well-being of our members will be key for our success and growth. Ideal (Bootcamp) will be a project that will house people from diverse background, meaning that they will coming in with myriads of health issues and it is our role to ensure that their stay at Ideal (Bootcamp) will be enjoyable and fun. I have put up mechanisms that will dress mental-illness challenges that some of our members will be facing. Together with my team, I am looking forward to registering our members for medical schemes so as to ensure they are covered against illness and hospitalization. We will also encourage physical fitness sessions which will include gyms, members off-work interactions and community engagements among other initiatives.

Ideal (Bootcamp) being a Youth and Women empowerment workshop, training and coaching will be core to our success. Our main areas of learning will include advanced professional training both for career growth and entrepreneurial development. We also seek to provide financial training sessions both for our members and the communities we operate it. This will ensure that our members will make informed financial decisions whenever necessary. In future, we are looking forward to providing school scholarship for underprivileged children and members of the society we operate at.

We strongly advocate for Gender equality among our members as wee seek to equal provide opportunities for both men and women. Some of the initiative we are looking forward to implement include: Equal pay for all members of the same rank irrespective of gender. We will also be looking forward to be setting rules and guidelines to discourage sexual harassment at workplace and beyond. To top it all off, Work-life balance is also key to us since we encourage our members to take time off, including paid leaf for both men and women so that they can interact and socialize with their loved ones, especially their children.

To begin with, water is very essential component of our bodies, as it makes up to 70% of our body. That being said, at Ideal (Bootcamp) we will ensure that clean water is available at all time within our facilities, this will ensure that our members and the people we serve remain healthy and dehydrated all the time. In addition, we will also provide clean toilets and latrines that is accessible to all. Water harvesting and storage will also be key to us. Apart from putting up water storage tanks within our premise, we will also encourage and aid our members to do the same within their homes and communities.

Turn off your air conditioning, especially for sleeping – open a window or use a fan. Don’t use multiple devices at the same time. Be mindful about this and only several devices when absolutely necessary. Use solar energy sources. Install solar panels in your home for your heating and electricity. Use solar technology – radio, charger, lights etc. Switch off your appliances at the socket. Turn off the lights when you’re not using them.

Kenyan and many African Countries are considered to be developing countries, that means unemployment, high rate of poverty, lack of quality and affordable healthcare among other factors are still far from being addressed. Kenya being highly depend on Agriculture as a source of economic activities for her millions of citizens, a lot need to be done to make this sectors more productive and sustainable. At Ideal (Bootcamp) we are looking forward to working with different people from different economic sectors. This will ensure that we develop strategies that will ensure that most of our members after graduating from the program will be able to get decent and sustainable jobs, with better pay towards their economic well-being. We will also be looking forward to recruiting member from different parts of the country so that our services and products will be benefit all parts of Kenya, irrespective of the social, cultural and economic backgrounds.

Being that improving the economic status of our members, their families and the communities they come from, we will be dedicated to providing our members with necessary tools towards the realization of the same. Including funding their business ideas through partnerships, making technology available to them through business accelerator and incubation camps. We will also be in talks with leading internet providers to provide our member with affordable and reliable internet services so that the can work both online and offline.

A sustainable city is one that is designed to address social, environmental, and economic impact through urban planning and transformation. As an organization our roles will include: Tackling waste management challenges within our premises by adopting better recycling programs, stricter trash collection policies, and go paperless. Data-driven technologies can help monitor our consumption and contribute to sustainable waste innovation.

We will different stakeholders across the full production cycle, including business, consumers, policymakers, media, and communities. We also seek to address various aspects ranging from resource and chemical use to food loss, solid waste, recycling, consumer behavior, technology and putting up proper procurement laws. Encourage companies, especially large and transnational companies, to adopt sustainable practices and to integrate sustainability information into their reporting cycle.

We seek to use less energy by reducing your heating and cooling use, switching to LED light bulbs and energy-efficient electric appliances, washing your laundry with cold water, or hanging things to dry instead of using a dryer. We will seek to buy electric cars with more and cheaper models coming on the market. This will help reduce air pollution and cause significantly fewer greenhouse gas emissions than gas or diesel-powered vehicles

We seek to sustainably manage and protect marine and coastal ecosystems to avoid significant adverse impacts, including by strengthening their resilience, and take action for their restoration in order to achieve healthy and productive oceans. Provide access for small-scale artisanal fishers to marine resources and markets. Hope to help minimize and address the impacts of ocean acidification, including through enhanced scientific cooperation at all levels.

This is very important in terms resource mobilization and effective management of the same.,

These partnerships will not only be local but global since it will require ba collective effort to achieve our desired goals.

05.08 Justification
Our main reason for providing the above answers is because despite the services that will be offering under Ideal (Bootcamp) is being offered by other projects or companies, we bring in anew twist, that is, offering a comprehensive mix of programs that complement each other. For instance by bringing people together, your are creating a huge network which enable people to exchange ideas, create opportunities and form partnerships. We will also be connecting member entrepreneurs to investors and financies through our business acceleration and incubation activities. Members will also be able to invest in huge project which would otherwise be imposible if done by one person. All these activities make Ideal (Bootcamp) different from what the competitors are offering.
05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?
In this industry, my main competitors will be Business Incubators, Recruiting Agencie, Self Help Groups and Consulting Firms This is because, despite being uniquely positioned in terms of our programs and services, most of the services we will be offering are already being offered by other companies. But that would not pose a huge threat to us since, we will instead be working in partnership with some of our competitors so that together we can all achieve our desirely results.
10.06 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?
Being that Youths and Women are our core beneficial, ths project more of female entrepreneurs that their male counterparts and I believe that through this initiative, we will empower thosands of women entrepreneurs.
