Jawabu e learning platform is a Kenyan based startup created to revolutionize education in Kenya.With the rise of new education curriculum ,Jawabu is set to integrate technology to provide high quality learning close to students & teachers in all areas..

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

Jawabu offers a diverse library of courses across various subjects, from lower primary to secondary levels. In addition we provide a library of electronic books known as e-library .The platform features interactive lessons with videos and quizzes, making learning engaging and fun. Personalized learning paths adapt to each student's pace and style, helping them achieve their academic goals. Leader boards motivate students to stay engaged and track their progress.Educators can design multimedia-rich courses, facilitate group projects, and engage students through discussion forums. The platform’s analytics provide detailed insights into student performance, enabling educators to customize their teaching strategies and improve outcomes.In addition ,the platform has a community section whereby students may interact with others and their peers , teachers/parents and teachers/students.We have also integrated a video chatting room whereby students can attend classes and even share links .

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

1.Education inequity and limited access to quality education in Kenya.Students in remote or undeserved regions often lack access to high-quality educational resources, experienced teachers, and diverse learning materials.Many families cannot afford private tutoring or extra educational programs, further limiting students' learning opportunities.Jawabu is therefore integrating AI technology by providing a pool rich of educational content based on Kenyan curriculum.In addition we have created a section of concepts whereby students can look into documents and pages by clicking links in which they have content of various subjects ranging from financial education ,health ,fitness,psychology etc. 2.Traditional education often fails to accommodate different learning styles and paces, resulting in students who struggle to keep up and its due to Large class sizes and limited resources meaning that teachers cannot provide personalized attention to each student.AI question answering bot system.

1.Jawabu provides access to high-quality educational content to users countrywide regardless of geographical location. This is particularly beneficial for students in remote or undeserved areas who may not have access to traditional educational resources.Users can download reading materials for offline use, ensuring continuous learning even without an internet connection. This feature is crucial for regions with unreliable internet access. 2. Jawabu uses advanced algorithms to create personalized learning paths based on individual progress, performance, and preferences. This tailored approach helps students learn at their own pace and according to their unique needs. Detailed analytics and progress tracking allow users to monitor their learning journey. Personalized feedback and recommendations help users identify areas for improvement and achieve their learning goals effectively. 3. Jawabu offers collaboration through discussion forums ,group projects and peer reviews for discussions.

01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

1.Students of age between 10 -25 in Kenya from rural and urban areas with a focus on ones from rural areas who have limited access to educational content.Students in need of high-quality educational resources that are often unavailable in their local schools.In case of questions we have an AI bot whereby students can prompt it get answers ,in addition you can use scan method for questions which are handwritten thus enhancing learning since most learners become bored when looking for answers of questions 2.Teachers and instructors in schools.Both urban and rural areas, with varying levels of resource availability. Tech literacy: Varies from moderate to high; open to integrating digital tools into their teaching practices.Tools and features to better engage students and facilitate interactive learning experiences.Enable them have a channel where they interact with students and parents hence encouraging cohesion and immediate feedback. Morgan Alex Gombe.He is my schoolmate within Kabarak university .Currently pursuing bachelor of computer and forensics .For me he is a great partner since he is in a technology field which is of great importance to enable the success of jawabu e platform.In terms of skills he is conversant with various programming languages ranging from the front end to back end.Furthermore he has been working on some AI and machine learning projects which he has posted on his github account.Due to this immense exposure and his spirit of hardwork I truly believe he is the right person to work with.With the good relationship we are having I believe we wil be able to complete the project.Currently we all have some experience in programming and web development thus am confident with this project. In the university level we have been actively attending different workshops and conferences which talk about innovation and data analysis etc.In addittion he has also been part of the alx software engineering

Cultural Irrelevance: A significant number of educational resources do not take into account the cultural and regional contexts of learners, leading to disengagement and ineffective learning. Providing modules focused on leadership, management, and business strategy tailored for aspiring young female entrepreneurs and leaders .In jawabu platform we intend to include research papers and documents on leadership and women empowerment where students can look into and gain some knowledge. Connecting Women with Mentors: Facilitating mentorship opportunities where experienced female entrepreneurs and business leaders can provide guidance, support, and advice to emerging female entrepreneurs.This in jawabu platform can be achieved by integrating videos and speeches in the software and also we will add some articles written by renowned women leaders in our society . Partnering with women leaders.For Jawabu this is a future goal whereby we will add a section for mentorship in which we will include various experts in different fields .Students will therefore have a chance to communicate with these experts and get to be advised .
