My project is to ensure availability of almost free pure water to Tana River and North Eastern Kenya people.

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

Am launching a project of engaging well-wishers to drill boreholes, installing water tanks and solar pumps to make pure water almost freely available to poor locals. First to purchase a land and secure a fence. Drill the borehole and install big water tanks inside. Solar pumps will be connected to the level switches thus ensure automatic refilling. To avoid fracas of people which can damage the installations, pipes will be connected to taps outside the fence. To accommodate animals, another section will be constructed a water trough able to serve 20 cows on each side, it will be automatically filled too. Small amounts collected will help in maintaining the project.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

Am trying to solve lack of pure water to people living in hardship areas. Most people depend on buying expensive water sold by private owners, sometimes available on great distances. Occasionally, pools of water from scare rains are competed for by people and animals, this compromises people's health while struggling to survive. In hardship areas, making money is very hard, thus purchasing water at a higher price is a burden to the locals.

01.03 Tell us the major benefits and/or advantages of using the product/service that your project intends to provide (at least 3).

The main advantage of this project is to improve the wellbeing of poor people at the hardship areas. Driving the project will be at low cost by utilizing hot sun. After water is drilled successfully, it will ensure availability of water for a very long time. Another advantage is that, it will help to reduce outbreaks of diseases relating to hygiene and lack of water.

01.04 Please describe who exactly your project is aimed at serving. Who are the targeted beneficiaries?

It targets to save people living in hardship areas of thirst. After solving this problem, people will be able to get water cheaply and thus able to do irrigation to again wrestle the hunger problem. This will improve the livelihood of poor people living in hardship areas for a very long time.

He has a bachelor's degrees in Agribusiness. He deals with installing solar pumps, build fish ponds, install irrigation assets etc. He is skilled in water projects , thus a suitable partner for this project.

Having divers ethnicities here, a common salvation at the water point from a common problem to all will improve interrelationship between them. Elsewhere, active farmers will need manure from pastoralists who will need plant remains for their livestock. This will be possible through a good interrelationship between them.

05.08 Justification

Other areas have been fortunate to receive sponsors who financed their water projects. The project's newness can be described by full utilizing the free energy to maneuver everything to make water available. Another idea is the separation of water point for livestock and people to reduce fracas.

05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?

Private sellers of water are my main competitors. Selling water at their quarter price makes us outstanding. They also don't have water point for the livestocks but us we will have it.

Yes, I encourage young ladies to do small scale businesses like rearing chicken.
