I chose spice production because in Kenya, spice is an industry that is not fully tapped into. Indirectly the project will impact the exporters, the loaders & off loaders and the retailers at the end of the value chain. By creating and running a successful establishment. The project can and will grow to Industrial scale and at this point we will impact the unemployment issue on a Global scale according to our growing capacity. We expect to reach industrial scale of productions within 20yrs.

Top Food East Africa - Is the largest manufacturer of spices, seasonings, masala in Kenya & is also exporting it's products to other countries in the region. => Factors that will make us stand out from our competitor are; A) We plan to cultivate our own spices from the beginning of the project. This will enable us to guarantee that 40-50% of the raw produce processed and exported from our processing plants come from our very own production farms. B) By planning & working towards a circular economy. We intend to have the full loyalty and support of the communities around our farms & processing plants. This will guarantee us new partner farmers from different regions of the country who will help boost the rate of our production. C) Most of the spices on our catalog are seldom cultivated in Kenya. This will make us the pioneers of seed production, imparting of cultivation & harvesting knowledge, processing and exportation. This spices are; Vanilla, Saffron, Tumeric & White Truffle.
10.06 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?
I helped a friend of mine called Sylvia with Ksh.7,200/- to start a 'chapati' cooking business from 5-10pm. Her target market is the working class of 8-5 leaving work around that time. She makes Ksh.1,500-2,000/- per evening from chapati sales. In a month she makes Ksh.36,000-48,000/-. She has since completed paying the loan i gave her and after 5 months after she opened she's contemplating opening a small hotel near a bus terminal. I look at her growth and desire to grow even more and she gives me motivation to start my spice cultivation dream. So that i can impact the lives of more young women and men like me, who are hungry for an opportunity to accomplish their goals and materialize their dreams.
