I need to start an agri-business where i venture into fresh farm produce especially vegetables and poultry

01.01 Describe your project in more detail

The project is All about doing agriculture and same time business.in The community where I reside I came to realize that there is a shortage supply of fresh farm produce especially vegetables and poultry.I have a small piece of land where I can practice the farming if I get funds.I am farming the land for my family consumption but I wish to extend to the community around.I also wish to keep poultry especially for meat and eggs production since my farm is small in size I realized that poultry does not need too much space hence I consider it.I will use the waste to make manure that I will use to farm.

01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?

People in my area lack a good supply of fresh vegetables because they have to travel Long distance to get.a market place in my community is around 7km hence so inconvenience especially to the Older population.my project will be easier to access and get the products so easy and affordable.Also health wise I will have solved nutrition since a combination of vitamins and proteins since my community is comprised of young and elderly people

Benefits of the project.1.it will be easier to access and get my services.2.readily available fresh produce hence nutritious.3.affodable.4.my community Will be able to learn and get skills of farming.5.i will need some people to help me hence creating employment to my community.and so much more

My project is aimed at serving all people in My community from Young to older generation.this include the sick people who are need of nutrients.all livelihood in my community need vegetables everyday.

Contribution to good health and well being will be achieved by minimizing the use of farm chemical that will be harmful for human consumption.For cultivating vegetables I will need to reduce the use of fertilizer and apply manure that will make the farm more fertile and productive.also vegetables that I will grow are leguminous crops which don't require heavy use of fertilizer and also pest control.use of pesticides will be minimal as I will try and use traditional way's of pest control e.g use of Ash.
