01.01 Describe your project in more detail
The electric solar farm is a large-scale grid-connected photovoltaic power system designed for the supply of energy for use in irrigation and the running of value addition factories.
01.02 What is the main problem you are trying to solve?
The project aims to solve the massive power deficit in Kenya rural areas and to reduce the reliance of traditional power sources such as coal.

05.08 Justification
Solar farms have existed in other parts of the world but they have not been adopted in Kenya in many areas. The project will utilize crystalline silicon photovoltaic devices that are durable.
05.09 Who are your main potential competitors and what makes you stand out from them?
KPLC is the main competitor yet they rely on hydroelectric power for most of the power that they generate
10.06 Are you initiating actions within your community to promote the role of female entrepreneurs?
Yes. We educate girls on the need for enterpreneurship and education through workshops and shows
